what weapon did the guy use in the suicide vid?
vaping is still a habit of sucking in shit you dont need
i heard people say quitting porn was harder than quitting smonking
my grandfather smoked for 20 years then said he is going to quit if he has a daughter, his daughter was born a year later and he never smoked again
social conformity is powerful, three of my friends who used to shit on smokers became smokers after they moved to big cities and met smonker people <:monkaS:299267496668692493>

the polar bears spooking the walruses doesn't contradict the claim that climate change is also to blame
I've watched this a couple of months ago and the way I remember, they said that climate change has reduced their natural habitat, so the walruses are forced to gather on small beaches like this with not enough space
and because of their bad eyesight, many will fall to death
but polar bears wouldn't push them off the cliffs if they weren't up there in the first place
and the title claims Attenborough tacitly admits deception
Attenborough's old shows used to be very educational
if you spend your entire childhood watching movies where women are strong and independent and blacks are scientist
@Smoke the witcher books have plenty of philosophical themes, that's what makes them great

@Nerthulas why are wasting time with group selection? No group selectionist has ever given a satisfying answer to your questions because there isn't one. It's an illusion, emerging from the many replicators and selection happening on the gene level. Proponents like to parade it around with cases where it appears intuitive, but ignore other cases where it can't explain what's happening, or is outright contradicted
people believe the silliest of ideas, and group selection appears sound at first glance, of course it was prominent
anything you can explain with group selection, you can also explain with gene selection
if it never explains more, usually less, and frequently leads people towards wrong predictions, whats the point?
You can use group selection if you're extremely careful and not lose sight of it being an emergent property of gene selection
But I think it's very rare that thinking in a group selectionist view would be more practical than gene or individual selection
@Nerthulas That's exactly the point. The higher level of selection you view, the more likely it is to predict incorrectly. Individual selection can be handy, but it can also lead you astray. Gene selection always works
