Korea and Vietnam are two very different stories. One was an enemy trying to actually fight in the open other was a hide&seek affair.

Vietnam had a lot more in common with Afghanistan than with Korea.

For one, support of the local populace in warzones was nearly irrelevant in Korea while in Vietnam it mattered a whole lot.
