I joined this server for a simple reason
To say things I can't in other servers
Such as
I am not emotionally affected by pictures of kittens

I really wish I was joking, but multiple communities have grown to dislike me because I'm apparently too negative

Discord's new gif feature is really useful
Just not for what it's intended for

I learned pretty early on that if you just make a normal image a .gif, then you can use the gif favourites to make an automatic meme library, even for still images

With that knowledge, I can use this image at all times

I am very tired, and full of multiple concerns, so I retreated to this server

On the bright side, reading Google Reviews of deserts and oceans is fun

People are calling for 4chan to get shut down (well, they always have, but they're doing it again in force) completely ignoring the fact that shutting down a website won't make it's users give up on congregating somewhere online, and they will just migrate somewhere else

By the way the tweet went, it does seem to be some sort of knee-jerk reaction, and it's unclear if there was government pressure, or if there was an agreement to block those websites for the time-being as a show of... something? by the ISPs

People are claiming that the media is clearly saying 'mass shooting' cause they're white supremacist, otherwise they'd say 'terrorist'
A worrying amount of people seem to be completely oblivious to the amount of media sources that have roundly labelled the guy as a terrorist, and don't seem to grasp that if a media outlet really was white supremacist, they probably wouldn't be condemning the guy at all, not just not in the slant that some viewers want

So, on a current events show today in New Zealand, they brought on this 100 year old woman who survived a concentration camp to give her two cents on the recent Terrorist Attack
It almost seemed like they wanted to report on the 100th birthday of this former member of the Dutch Resistance and concentration camp survivor, but couldn't help but inject the recent events into it to make it seem more relevant
I'd bet one of my toes that they brought the subject up to her, rather than her actually having something to say to begin with
