@wolfman1911 @Fenek Many doctors in US (and I think the former British Commonwealth?) still promote "medical" circumcision saying that removal of the foreskin helps prevent infections because bacteria and fungus are more easily able to take hold under an intact/complete foreskin hood because of the warm moist environment, and trimming the foreskin hood allows airflow and light exposure that prevents infection. However this makes just as much sense as saying we should remove out eyelids because they trap moisture and that could promote infection; just as our eyes clean themselves with tears the act of peeing without pulling the foreskin back creates a Jacuzzi-like effect rinsing the head and inside of the foreskin with urine killing and washing out most anything that might have gotten inside the hood. Further, just as removal of the eyelids would lead to dying out and thickening of the surface eyeball thus damaging vision, so too removal of the foreskin hood causes the penis to become increasingly calloused and desensitized over time due to exposure and friction from clothing etc. thus diminishing the sensations of sex beyond the initial loss of sensation caused by removal of the nerve endings in the foreskin.

@wolfman1911 @Fenek As to religious reasoning, if you're an Orthodox Jew there's no religious reason to stop the practice, they have to keep doing it because they don't think God has said otherwise, though many/most Rabbis take much less of the foreskin than is taken during a "medical" circumcision by a western doctor, but if you're a Christian there's a solid scriptural case for Baptism replacing circumcision and thus it being no longer needed. Been a long time since I researched all this and made up my mind about it before we had our first kid so let me go find you some links.

ROS took a giant steaming shit on the Skywalker saga. It had more plot holes than a cheese grater and more Deus Ex Machina than the Ten Commandments. They completely broke The Force because they disregarded all previous lore, even the newly limited Disney-canon lore, about how The Force works and why, leaving themselves literally no where to go with the story as their Mary-Sue-cum-Omnipotent-Goddess leaves no room for any narrative tension. Aside from the so-far-so-good Mandalorian, StarWars is fucking dead.
