I bet! Make sure you take some oil with you if you intend on cooking eggs, they have a tendency of getting stuck even on a seasoned skillet

That works! Chorizo and eggs is great in cast iron also!

Do yall have any favorite dishes to cook while out camping? I've been looking to expand my menu alittle

Was it good? I've seen people do it before but never actually tried it

Lol well that doesnt do me anygood๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Lol crunchy cheese ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

For sure I'll be checking that out!

What's up with the wood still on top of your gas system?

Hey that works, I hadnt ever seen that before

Lol you have a fair point ๐Ÿคฃ

Honestly, spend 6-8 on a good rifle. Assemble it yourself. It will be what you want and the set up you desire. There are to many tutorials to count on youtube. Dont cheap out on the optic because that's what makes your rifle. Spend 200 on a decent holosun or similar. The training I can do for free. I just want to see you have a good set up and a decent amount of ammo to get familiar with. That's just my humble opinion.

I love my PSA rifle as well and have had ZERO issues with it. Just saying as an ideal goal that would be the best way to go.

The omni hybrid is still out there ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

I do for sure, it's a good time to buy for the most part!

Hey I'd run aimpoint all day long

Lol I'd run a comp m on a PSA and maybe a second hand EOtech

No shit? You ever look at a website called TacSwap?

It's a pretty good site, I've done alot of trades, selling and buying on there. That's the good thing about EOtech, I'm thinking about getting the magnifier set up but I'm not 100% sure yet

Yea they are nice and I love the ability to stick a PVS14 in front and have night vision capabilities

Well yes, I used a friend of mines one night and oh my was it glorious. It's would just be a set up that would be bought over about a year or so

That's for sure, that's when I buy alot of my stuff

That's for sure. Most will honor their warranties even though customer transition and it's fantastic

Do yall run plate carriers or chest rigs and why?

Do you run it pretty slick? I've been looking at getting a plate carrier but been flooded with super over priced ones and was just curious as to what people run or have any suggestions

Yea I've seen them and not entirely sure how I feel about running a slick loadout like that. Then again, it comes down to style, preference, mission and roll

Surefire is super good about customer support and the way I like to keep ammo is atleast 1000rds stock for every firearm

See my ideal load total is 300, I know the true combat load is 210 but I know as ass load of people who went over seas and they said 210 wasnt enough at all. On top of that I'll run a mag pouch on the back of my carrier for papa Kalash so that he will have atleast 1 extra mag if he goes black on ammo

It might not be a bad idea but I would consider a day pack, that way you can hold some loose ammo, food, breaching tools or other misc. Items instead of wearing an over carrier bag just for comfort

I wish there was a way to do it all and not have to choose one over the other without being super bulky. It's not a bad idea. Loose rounds are a pain but you also dont want to be reloading in the middle of a conflict

I dont either, I've been in a bunch of "war games" with simunition and what not, that was a good time and wish I could get my hands on some so that way we could train waaaay more efficiently. It's not that you wouldnt have the time as long as your squad has a cool head and can "talk" with their rifles, it's more about the dexterity in your hands with all the adrenaline.

I wish we had enough people to have support elements and what not if it came down to that!

If your interested in that, it would cost some money but I'm sure I can talk to some guys who are former SF and now train in the private sector

Sounds good to me, I'll talk to them and see what the minimum amount of people for a class and what it would cost us

Aero makes good shit too!

*my opinion*

The blue force gear vickers slings are awesome. I'm not a big fan of letting the rifle smack me in the jewels while transitioning to my sidearm which is the problem with single point slings. Two point slings are good as long as you gave a quick way to take up the slack like the hailey strategic slings or the blue force slings. Yea you'll end up spending about $50 or so depending on if you find a used or sale but they are worth every penny.

Optics, base your optic on your barrel length and application. Yes you can smack steel with a AR 15 at 600 with an acog with 62gr but the amount of energy lost is significant. So you lack knock down power which in combat you want. If your running a 16 or 18" barrel, personally I would run a red dot of some sort or maybe a variable zoom optic like the strike eagle for spotting purposes.

Your AR10 comes in when you are reaching out to 400+ regularly, yes you can do it with an AR but if your putting man or beast down and you want to make sure it's going to be that shot that does it, AR10. If you have a recon squad say 3 guys, one Designated marksman, spotter and backup that's your ideal set up, not everyone needs one for sure but having a guy who knows how to run it and has the wallet to practice with it is definitely an asset.

Not saying AR10 should be your first rifle because it should, get a bare bones AR15 and learn how to operate it well with irons and then transition to an optic, dont rely on the optic but use it as a tool. Same with after market triggers and other upgrades. Yes they are nice but you shouldnt rely on them.

No problem. Hitting 400+ is definitely fun and it makes shooting out even farther seem attainable. I will say it makes shooting targets standing still with an AR very boring after you do it though so just a heads up, it will make you want to improve all around

This makes me so damn sad ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ https://www.instagram.com/p/B-agni2J5jP/?igshid=lmbmmkkmsfpa

I agree 100% I'm an AR guy but no gun should ever receive that treatment. high points being the only exception

Lol that's fair ๐Ÿคฃ

Thats what you call marriage material lol

Have any of yall prospected for gold before?

Weird combo but looks tasty!

I was thinking about starting and wasnt really sure what to look for

How did the pancakes turn out? I've never done them over the fire

@Boog Toomsen damn 12 bucks is cheap!

That's a good question, I'm not sure if they use bungies or not but they look like good pouches none the less

If it stayed that low it would be great

Yea I would doubt it too but it would be nice

Yea that's my arm

Thanks, I got it done about 5 years ago

When your bored out of your mind but want to shoot

This guy posts some pretty regular "training" or guildence regularly, give him a look

You'll be lucky if he even considers it because it's a firearms manufacturer

That's for sure! He posts alot of good stuff and I'm honestly considering going out to colorado to take one of his classes

And that's coming from canada where they have free healthcare, imagine here without insurance

This is crazy. Listen to the reasons and look at everything going on now. https://youtu.be/d0tKJNJ3p3k

Is anyone interested in a copy of my combat engineer study book?

I'll get a couple copies and give them to you when we meet up

No problem!

Thats for damn sure, I've seen so many of their crazy drills where they shoot past each other's head and in the body armor, bastards are nuts

So I've been kicking around this idea and its a work in progress but the principle is peaceful anarchy. Basically do everything as legally as possible but the core would be;

1. Buy only private party for everything you possibly can (firearms, food or anything you can't produce yourself) basically avoiding sales taxes, promoting bartering and local economy

2. Work under the table as much as possible to avoid income tax and to help out your local economy yet again buy allowing the person you work for or are doing jobs for to keep alittle more money in their pocket.

3. Live off grid, produce your own electricity, water and good. Its pretty self explanatory but living independent of the system is a pretty large F-you to the government.

4. Pay for as much as you possibly can out of pocket and don't aquire any debt as or limit your debt to as little as possible and for only the bare nessesities.

It's a work in progress and I'm still coming up with ideas but that's what I have so far.

๐Ÿคฃ alittle more literal then I figured you were being

Thats when people get met with a rifle at the door ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚

Same, I do my very best to a bid by this every day. Saving up for a nice chunk of land at the moment to really kick everything off in full

This should help

I would assume so I do

๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ fuck them all!!!

I didn't mean like that ๐Ÿ˜… ill hit that button

That's what I have, they also have a walkie attachment that I wanna try out

That basterd got banned already!

So need a recommendation on the muzzle device on my new girl

I have shot with the surefire war comp and its up there on the list at the moment

I might order that and the warden at the same time just because it makes a huge ass fireball ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

It really hasn't changed anything for us really, still feels the same. Everyone is carrying out their daily lives and not givin a shit down here in muscatine

Yea its honestly a joke at this point. Its not going away and the sooner people realize that the sooner the media loses power and people can think for themselves again
