@thicc rat 's gat but it's a Ruger and it's cheap

2020-03-27 04:06:20 UTC

Any of you guys run PSA rifles? I built mine for sub 400 and love it.

I really want to get a build kit from them but being underage and having fudd parents isn't a fun combo

2020-03-27 04:38:06 UTC

Your under 18? I ordered mine without the lower and just picked up a blemished one from a local shop

Yea I'm only 16

I really want to build this

2020-03-27 04:41:00 UTC

Damn I commend you on being so vigilant at that age. I've honestly been looking at that one as well. I dont think you have to be 18 to order the kit. The only part you have to be 18 for is the lower

Actually you have to be 18 to buy the kit. You have to be 21 to buy the lower

But you only have to be 18 to own the rifle, technically 14 if your parents consent

The laws are so fucked

2020-03-27 04:42:28 UTC

Long rifle gang

2020-03-27 04:42:31 UTC

Shit

2020-03-27 04:42:45 UTC

My less than 16 inch barrel on my bolt action .22 lr rifle

A gun is a gun

2020-03-27 04:45:44 UTC

Lol its been a while since I had to worry about that I just turned 25 this year. Honestly. Have a buddy guy the kit and get your hands on an 80% lower. I honestly dont think 21 is a reasonable age for weapon purchases. I signed my contract for the military when I was 17 still in highschool. All gun laws are unconstitutional.

Yes!

2020-03-27 04:46:34 UTC

What 22 do you have? I picked up a savage at my local Wally world about 2 months ago for 99 bucks and it's not bad but it's no ruger 10/22

2020-03-27 04:46:52 UTC

I got a PSA AK-47 lmao

2020-03-27 04:47:05 UTC

It's a real meme

My plan was actually to take some of the money I earned from my job in cash in order to buy a gun but I'm down to 3 hours a week so thats out the fucking window

2020-03-27 04:47:37 UTC

How do you like it @Boog Toomsen ? I've honestly debated getting one

I might try to get another job

2020-03-27 04:47:51 UTC

I love it

2020-03-27 04:48:19 UTC

I would, walmart needs people like crazy right now, honestly any grocery store really.

2020-03-27 04:49:01 UTC

Glad to hear it. I've wanted to get into the AK game after I get my old ladies rifle done and been kinda looking around to see what's out there

I really wanted to work for Aldis cause they were hirjng shelf stockers and cleaners for $14.50 an hour

But you have to be 18

2020-03-27 04:49:56 UTC

$0.20 per round lmao

2020-03-27 04:50:06 UTC

7.62x39 master race

2020-03-27 04:50:38 UTC

Damn I didnt know they required that. Hell you might beable to find some old people around that need stuff done since all this shit is going on

I could honestly probably mow old peoples lawns if this goes long enough

2020-03-27 04:51:59 UTC

I get my 223 reloaded for about .23/.24 per round but I do like the stopping power of 7.62

The only problem I have with AKs is that it's harder to mod them out unlike ARs

I just really want an ar-15 but they're "so dangerous" or "useless" or "why not another gun?"

2020-03-27 04:52:33 UTC

I got all magpul furniture on mine

2020-03-27 04:52:50 UTC

And I have a rail for an optic

Like its just and easily modifiable, reliable, accurate, common gun

2020-03-27 04:53:01 UTC

Tell them you want an HK416 instead๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Lmao

2020-03-27 04:53:09 UTC

FAL please

I think if I took out my college savibgs I could buy a lower

FALs are hot

Real Tipperary hours

2020-03-27 04:54:02 UTC

Aks can be accurate I'd they are built well! Does yours have the side mounted rail? Or is it top mounted?

2020-03-27 04:54:29 UTC

It's on the dovetail

2020-03-27 04:54:47 UTC

Lol yea on brownells the 416 kits are like $3500 it makes me want to puke

2020-03-27 04:55:21 UTC

Or spend $360 on an SKS

2020-03-27 04:55:26 UTC

Basically the same thing

I honestly might buy an sks

But I really want an ar

2020-03-27 04:55:59 UTC

I want an AN-94

2020-03-27 04:56:02 UTC

lmao

I want what I think is called the dp 28. Its a machine gun in 7.62x54r that is pan fed

2020-03-27 04:56:58 UTC

Pretty much, I got a buddy that has one and ruined it because they put the bull pup conversion kit on it and now you cant use any sights but the irons and its ugly as all hell.

Anything works right now, all you have to do is aspire for more and uoull get there.

2020-03-27 04:56:59 UTC

OOooo

Its hotter than satans ballsack

2020-03-27 04:57:28 UTC

They are sooooo heavy though ๐Ÿคฃ and awkward on top of that!

Im not saying its practical, just cool as hell

Imagine that mounted on a truck

2020-03-27 04:59:14 UTC

That's fair, some of the odd designs like that are pretty cool and you wonder what kinda drugs people were one while designing them. It was basically the large version of the P90 if you think about it and any machine gun mounted to a truck would be awesome!

Yes. Make america free again. Its insane that if you were to mount a machine gun on a truck the machine gun would likely cost more than the truck

Like its the difference of an ounce of metal

2020-03-27 05:02:43 UTC

Yea that's no joke, I was talking to a guy that works at creative arms when they came out shooting with us. He has a full auto AK that was super fun to shoot and since they are an FFL they get all the fun toys, I asked how much it would cost me to get an AK like that, keep in mind it was bare bones triangle folder, no fancy anything on it and he told me before the tax stamps and filing fees it would be $15,000 it blew my mind

Yea its fucking insane

Its also stupid that any full auto has to have been manufactered before 1986

Like either have the balls to ban them completely and start a civil war or just fuck off

2020-03-27 05:05:49 UTC

Doesnt have to, you just have to hold an FFL class 3 if I remember correctly. Which at that point you could drop a sear kit in your AR as long as its registered. I believe any civilian can own a full auto if its pre ban but I could be wrong

If you get a certain license as a civilian you can own a registered full auto produced before 1986. If you hold a gun manufacturers license you can own "dealer samples" (guns produced to demostrate the function of a firearms before purchase of mass quantities of said firearm) but you can never sell them or give them to others and when you die or don't renew your license the guns must be destroyed or turned in to the government

Its silly

2020-03-27 05:11:27 UTC

Sounds like it, dont get me wrong I would love yo own one but I dont think I have the wallet to feed the hungry bastads lol even when I was in the military the only time I ever shot full auto was when we were getting rid of the left over ammo ๐Ÿคฃ most of the time is was 2/3 round bursts.

Yea, unless I start making a lot more money even trying to buy the ammo to shoot a full auto will leave me bankrupt lol

2020-03-27 05:15:49 UTC

That's no joke! It's expensive but it does come in handy in some cases.

2020-03-27 05:16:28 UTC

But I'm gunna hop of and try to get some sleep, take her easy and have a good night!

You too man!

2020-03-27 19:47:49 UTC

Hey so I don't know much about AR's (I'm an AK guy) but I'm considering building one. Does anyone who runs an AR have an opinions on this upper? https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-20-chf-1-7-a2-rifle-length-556-prem-ar15-upper-assembly-w-bcg-ch.html

2020-03-27 19:48:29 UTC

I'm thinking of going for an M16A4 type of thing

2020-03-27 19:49:50 UTC

Its basically like my upper but longer. PSA makes some stuff but I would personally go would with one of the kits that has a free float because you get more accuracy and heat exchange. Along with mounting capabilities

2020-03-27 19:52:02 UTC

And then on that add a mapgul AFG and a flashlight

2020-03-27 19:53:33 UTC

The only think you have to worry about is front sight post. If you dont get a hand guard that is made for that then you have to take it off and that's a pain. It really just comes down to how efficient you want to be in your building

2020-03-27 19:56:30 UTC

This one is the right length and appears to fit into the retaining cap thingy (Idk the exact name) at the front sight block.

2020-03-27 19:58:23 UTC

Lol I'm not even sure what its called but awesome, the next thing you'll have to worry about is the shape of the retainer on the front sight post, mine is triangle shaped and some drop ins have to be circle. Other then that it should be all you have to worry about

2020-03-27 20:24:59 UTC

Anyone else here fun a 300blk?

2020-03-27 20:39:27 UTC

Run*

@Boog Toomsen Who was selling SKS's for $370?

2020-03-28 03:31:15 UTC

Atlantic firearms

2020-03-28 03:31:21 UTC

I can get a link

While I really want an ar-15 I'm not making any headway with my parents

2020-03-28 03:32:07 UTC

Oh they're sold out

Fuck

2020-03-28 03:34:01 UTC

They usually have em on gunbroker for around that price

2020-03-28 05:30:20 UTC

@Boog Toomsennot a fan of quad rails my dude get an mlock and add rail as needed

2020-03-28 05:31:34 UTC

Also psa ars are hit and miss qc is not great

2020-03-28 05:32:17 UTC

Buy a lower from them that's fine but barrel and bcg from them for anything serious ๐Ÿ‘Ž

2020-03-28 05:32:19 UTC

I only hear good things about PSA, idk why you guys don't like them

2020-03-28 05:53:06 UTC
