come on man, he had BASED Neitzchian Master Morality
It did feel good to see him wrecked at the end
True
I loved the scene where she took him to the city
Peak aethetics
And did you notice the elevator scene where they're descending into the underground city and the characters are silhouettes?
Straight out of Eva
And when hiro was practicing with the small robot in the white tiled room and 02 was looking down on him from that glass box
Really reminded me off when Rei was practicing and Gendo was watching her
Definitely
Trigger did this in Kill la Kill pretty often
It's a fun show, great music, great animations, mediocre pacing, but yeah it turned out to be kind of gay towards the end
It's still a good watch imo
If not for the music alone
And great facist leader Satsuki
lol
lol yeah, it's a good time
It totally is, one of the best anime
Che is based
lol
Any JoJo fans in here?
Death March was fun, but got really bad toward the end
I saw the SAO movie in theaters
as a prank
I cringed so hard for Hiro in that scene
lol
"He's her darling, not this fre*king loser!"
I yelled at my screen
The first episode is my favorite, 02 is cute in the lake scene
Did you finish Your Name? @epic
Lol
@Thomas to be fair you have to have an extremely high IQ to understand Pop Team Epic-
Lol
@Thomas have you tried Darling in the Franxx?
This name is actually totally straight forward, "Darling" us referring to the romantic relationship between the main characters, and "Franxx" is the name of the giant robots they pilot.
Koi wa Ameagari no You ni looks really good, I'll check that one out today
I watched in the theater with some friends (back when I had IRL friends)
It was amazing
Probably my favorite romance anime
It's a long story, but a combination of my politics and religious beleifs lost me most of my friends last year. They were "weed lmao" reddit secularists.
@Alyssa Cordelia Watching it right now, I'm already love the artstyle
"Koi wa Ameagari no You ni"/"After the Rain"
It's trad, dude
*says the guy dating an older woman*
That's part of the fun of anime
>pedophelia
Blaze, now you're just being unreasonable
^
It's just an anime, you're not going to disavow traps and catbois now are you?
It's Alt-Trad
In traditional european Christian societies, women would get married in their early teens to men in their 20s and above
This feels like the same sort of arguementation used by the folks that keep asking Nick to disavow traps and catbois all the time
It's just an anime, it's fine
Lol Blaze
We can all agree that Bebop is great at least
Harsh neg
Bebop has some good romance elements, though they are more subtle. It also has some religious themes that you'd probably like.
If you watch til episode 5, you'll be hooked @Alyssa Cordelia
Especially if you liked Eva
@donut true
@donut I watched the first two episodes of that one, really like it, but I forgot to keep up with it when it was airing
I'd agree with that, especially when within the context of a Christian relationship
I think that part of why it worked so well in the trad Christian societities, they where getting married right after puberty, which would curb a lot of the pre-marital sex nonsense you see today.
Also, they were having puberty later than today. Chemicals in the water have screwed with that.
@A_Sturmmannโแตแตสณแถฆแถ แถฆแตแต that's what I meant
Definitely
Arranged marrigages must have been great
Church mandated gfs
for sure
The problem now, is most kids have bad parents, and most kids don't have God
So we have to forge our own way
Definitely, if we, Gen Z, do our part
Your parents must be pretty cool considering how you are lol
My biological parents are not so great, my dad more so than my mom, but I was very lucky to have a very Christian Aunt who gave me the right values
Most of the Gen Z folks I've talked too had were not as lucky as me, and many are nihilistic because of their Gen X headonistic parents
That's great, keep up the Lord's work. I made poor decisions in who I chose to be friends with in HS. As I mentioned before, most of them ended up disavowing me becuase of my overt religiousity. I wwas a little overbearing at times, for sure, but my attemps at evangalizing ended up pushing pretty much all of my non-movement friends away perminently.
Which is probably a good thing for me, I was proabably being negatively influenced being around so many "sckeptic atheist types."
I'm very glad to have found this movement though, I've found some the first actually christian friends through this thing.

It's actually really good
basically
Exactly, that's what I learned
It's good to be around chad, trad, catholics
huge improvement for sure
I was too accepting, I didn't want to offend them to bad
Which was definitely bad praxis
I should have been arguing from a more confident postion
