im kenya, new to the server as of two minutes ago

ah gotcha, i wish you luck

basically?

i agree with @notjojo everything is subjective, it is okay to those who benefit

It's a good analogy, in any theory of government does that change though?

How will society survive on such a large scale without it?

What is your definition of civilization then?

Does that not only exist in theory?

Who becomes in charge of the distribution of materials in this reality? or is there?

You can think that, but over time among all groups of people there are personalities who rise up to lead and the rest follow, that's humanity.

But the true leaders, do they have the people in mind or will the power corrupt them eventually as well?

We started as a civilization and society was born from it with the corrupt leaders rising to power, will the process keep repeating as society rises again and new people come to the same conclusion?

I honestly think we can never reach that level, humanity is repeating the same problems so it becomes a cycle we can only study and theorize.

If the people are to rise, education will need to be more widespread and with technology this seems to be more of a reality. But I am still stuck at the thought that people at least some will succumb to corruption and people will rise again but there will always be people who suffer at such corruption which will continue to happen.

I don't think it is as simple as this. I have less trust in humanity being able to sort things out like corruption. Blaming only governance and not human nature cannot be the way forward.

How do you propose we fix povertythen?

There will still be poverty though because not everyone will use that for the reason it was given to them. And new problems will be created so to assume every problem will be fixed isn't reasonable.

I agree that it can solve many problems we have but I don't have the same view of human nature. I think we will continue to screw ourselves over no matter the scenario, no matter how hard we try.

Is that not what ruled 10,000 years ago eventually leading us to today?

It is the sickness of humanity, maybe in several million years the next species will not have the the same disease

Yes I agree. It will be the death of us. I don't think it will stop rising up until we don't exist though

The first isn't possible, while the second as i said above could lead to a new species figuring out what we can't.

Yes, I know we can overthrow our own current government, but there will always be a new one who will have similar problems or entirely new ones. Humanity is governance. And governance prevents us from evolving. I don't know if there is a non-circular solution but with your proposal like you said maybe we won't be humanity with enough of it

We are our own problem

I apologize I meant humanity IS government

Even humans?

We govern ourselves, that process is sick but that is humanity

I don't think that will be the result.

Much of your plan makes sense but we disagree on the result after it would enacted.

The result would be a mirror of the issues before the revolution, this is seen in all aspects of humanity throughout history where the net result is the same. After this discussion I feel government falls into a more murky water between human and inhumane. But humans fall into this same murky water as we both try to evolve and oppress our own under government.

Your plan

In society it would

I wholeheartedly agree.

Eh why not

We as humanity can try to revolutionize with your plan and others and attempt to evolve, without you're right we will devolve. Personally though I don't think humans have what it takes to stand the test of survival, but with plans like yours we can humanity a chance.

give*

Alright, it's a plan.

I'm Kenya by the way, I've enjoyed the conversation

How old are you, just wondering

16 actually

No you don't. Do you think people stop caring?

Well that is super depressing, although it only makes me want to enjoy now even more.

Ignorance truly is bliss.

What makes up the leaders you talk about?

Well yes, but I meant qualities of the leaders who will lead the civilization you discussed

Do you think all this could happen under current social atmosphere?

You need the majority of people supporting the cause and right now not as many people as you need are educated enough to understand, would this not hinder the movement?

Not many that's for sure.

Enough so that the true leaders can rise up and surpass the rest, providing trust of the system for the majority of people.

How does the generation after them rise?

Honestly I don't know, what do you think?

And on that note I am going to bid you goodnight (or technically morning, it is 4 am)

Well I appreciate that. I am actually 16 because what is a sleep schedule? Also I don't have school tomorrow so...
