I'm a globe earther but I have a genuine question for the flat earth beleivers because I can't work it out:
I can go to the shop right now and buy a telescope which will show me Mars, Jupiter and Saturn at about 400x magnification.
Through any of these telescopes I 'd be able to see the rings of Saturn orbiting the planet. I'd be able to see the great storm on Jupiter disappear off one side and then come back round on the other which proves it's a spherical rotating planet. I can see the same effect with features on Mars.
Given I can see all of this with my own eyes through a telescope i buy with my own money, without having to believe in NASA or anything else my question is this:
What series of physical events would lead to all the other planets in the solar system forming into rotating spheres, but Earth someone is flat?
