Christ says to go kill the Jews and the Antichrists that currently inhabit the Middle East.

2017-04-16 19:44:38 UTC

says the Pope in 1096

2017-04-16 20:22:22 UTC

When it comes to old time country revival i always liked this duo

2017-04-16 20:22:36 UTC

even though all of their tunes are their authorship, they kind of sound very authentic

2017-04-16 20:22:50 UTC

i think exilarch considers this quadroon music

2017-04-16 20:22:54 UTC

but still

2017-04-16 20:42:52 UTC

Was there an antifa/alt-right skirmish somewhere I missed out on?

2017-04-16 20:47:31 UTC

did you not see Berkeley?

2017-04-16 21:04:46 UTC

I did not see Berkeley.

2017-04-16 21:30:53 UTC

Soap is the environmentalist method, is it not?

2017-04-16 21:51:42 UTC

@OJneg Stalinism was also a national socialism

2017-04-16 21:51:51 UTC

so-called Socialism in One Country

2017-04-16 22:07:24 UTC

SODOMY IN ONE COUNTRY

2017-04-16 22:16:36 UTC

@fallot sure Stalinism could be said to be nationalistic in nature

2017-04-16 22:16:55 UTC

but we shoudl be able to agree that the Leninist/originalist was globalist in nature

2017-04-16 22:17:13 UTC

i.e. aimed to spark a worldwide workers revolution

2017-04-16 22:17:32 UTC

and ultimately move us to some utopian anarcho communist state

2017-04-16 22:18:48 UTC

I guess my point was, socialism was never just about economics

2017-04-16 22:19:33 UTC

capitalism, libertarianism, socialism (as economics) all strikes me as stupid

2017-04-16 22:19:39 UTC

pragmatism is the only economic system

2017-04-16 22:20:05 UTC

when you need competition, you need competition

2017-04-16 22:20:09 UTC

when things upscale to ridiculous extents

2017-04-16 22:20:12 UTC

you control

2017-04-16 22:20:22 UTC

there should be some priors to these economic systems

2017-04-16 22:20:26 UTC

some things people value above them

2017-04-16 22:20:27 UTC

so yeah, you're basically a mixed-economy guy

2017-04-16 22:20:30 UTC

so that these systems can lead to them

2017-04-16 22:20:36 UTC

sort of

2017-04-16 22:20:43 UTC

a whatever works guy

2017-04-16 22:21:12 UTC

I'm biased towards downscaling, which is kind of libertarian or communal

2017-04-16 22:21:40 UTC

makes sense, I'm a whatever works guy as well and I will ultiamtely be bound by any empircal evidence that shows by bias toward free market-ism to work less well

2017-04-16 22:22:06 UTC

the issue with the free market is stuff like you see now

2017-04-16 22:22:12 UTC

Amazon, Facebook etc.

2017-04-16 22:22:16 UTC

it's what most libertarians concede on issues of national defense, for example. Or else they must concede lest falling into the black hole that is anarcho-capitalism ๐Ÿ˜„

2017-04-16 22:22:17 UTC

rootless elites with massive influence

2017-04-16 22:22:39 UTC

it makes sense to me to break these down a bit, or to curtail them so they serve the common good

2017-04-16 22:23:11 UTC

I'm open to any good arguments for breaking up legitimate monopolies of course, as that is not somethign any free-marketer would want

2017-04-16 22:23:29 UTC

it's not just about monopoly, but about degree of influence on society

2017-04-16 22:23:54 UTC

monopoly or no monopoly, a private enterprise of this scale will result in a concentration of actual power in a small number of entities

2017-04-16 22:24:16 UTC

unless we start committing to say

2017-04-16 22:24:21 UTC

burning them at the stake if they are out of line

2017-04-16 22:24:30 UTC

actually it's still conflict

2017-04-16 22:24:41 UTC

the MPC guy is pretty good on this

2017-04-16 22:25:30 UTC

though I don't accept his attribution of some issues with modern society to scale alone

2017-04-16 22:25:58 UTC

I think we're into a bit nebulous terrritory when we talking about influence on society and how that could (or should) be controlled. My biggest issue is that any power you grant the state can ultimately used against you once you are infiltrated and subverted by ideologues (particularly ones from the left)

2017-04-16 22:27:34 UTC

I will give that a read though and keep an open mind

2017-04-16 22:27:38 UTC

this is problematic

2017-04-16 22:29:52 UTC

the above would be linked to a real reassessment of the state and its purposes, as one of the biggest manifestations of massive upscaling is mandarin modern government

2017-04-16 22:30:21 UTC

PLEASUREMAN astutely identifies the mandarin, the bureaucrats, the managerial class as the source of later problems

2017-04-16 22:30:46 UTC

right now, we can see a conflict play out where their power is evident

2017-04-16 22:31:05 UTC

"Deep state" (bureaucrats) vs. Trump

2017-04-16 22:33:10 UTC

I like to think I'm a pragmatically mindly libertarian at least...lol

2017-04-16 22:33:47 UTC

I'm fine with govt securing land via force, particularly natural landscapes we deem to have important beyond what those evil capitalists might have in mind

2017-04-16 22:34:14 UTC

borders obviously need to be secured

2017-04-16 22:35:00 UTC

You could very well imagine cases that a private company begins to rival the state's interests and force would need to be applied

2017-04-16 22:38:09 UTC

I am feeling altright over yarfy's stuff atm

2017-04-16 22:39:34 UTC

my only good alternative to it is yarfy's stuff and suddenly he is pro antifa

2017-04-16 22:41:22 UTC

and I hate them with the fire of 1,000 suns, so obviously that isn't gonna work

2017-04-16 22:41:31 UTC

and thus altright is suddenly more appealing

2017-04-16 22:44:33 UTC

hang on

2017-04-16 22:44:33 UTC

what

2017-04-16 22:44:37 UTC

yarfy is pro antifa?

2017-04-16 22:44:40 UTC

get out

2017-04-16 22:45:03 UTC

how does that work out @Deleted User 57835c2c ?

2017-04-16 22:45:22 UTC

Antifa seem to represent pure violent dalitry

2017-04-16 22:45:24 UTC

he likes that they attacked trump supporters

2017-04-16 22:45:39 UTC

I don't even want to use his terms at the moment, need to clear my head

2017-04-16 22:46:04 UTC

antifa are the people in europe that will circle up around a random dude and start interrogating him

2017-04-16 22:46:07 UTC

"What have you done to fight racism?"

2017-04-16 22:46:42 UTC

and if his answer isn't "I was the first person in my whole town to sign up to house refugee muslims and I host 5 of them and let them gangbang my wife while I watch tolerantly," they physically attack him

2017-04-16 22:46:47 UTC

the one and only teacher plx

2017-04-16 22:47:31 UTC

antifa are fucking pieces of shit

2017-04-16 22:47:58 UTC

the only leftists for whom I have no sympathy

2017-04-16 22:51:35 UTC

I don't have any sympathy for antifa

2017-04-16 22:52:17 UTC

they try to recruit doctors and get them to intentionally screw up peoples' medical treatment for voting the wrong way

2017-04-16 22:52:55 UTC

yeah?

2017-04-16 22:53:10 UTC

I've heard of a dude who claims to "miss" stabs while taking bloods

2017-04-16 22:53:16 UTC

from like, Trump voters

2017-04-16 22:53:22 UTC

but I don't believe him

2017-04-16 22:53:25 UTC

what are you talking about?

2017-04-16 22:54:15 UTC

I am talking about antifa trying to convince surgeons to let trump supporters die on the table

2017-04-16 22:58:26 UTC

details please

2017-04-16 22:58:36 UTC

I've seen a lot of things discussed online

2017-04-16 22:58:47 UTC

where for instance?

2017-04-16 22:58:52 UTC

I don't think it really requires details
