the core of a person is visible in any environment, that's what makes it their core, because it doesn't depend on outside circumstances

the conveniences of modernity are not as much of a problem as becoming detached from reality

easy lives are nothing new

but I'm sure there is some merit in subtracting modernity and seeing what a person amounts to

most people are only full of what they can regurgitate - consequently, when put in a situation where all of that knowledge is pointless, they wont know where to start
