@kaetaa yes, Emirates is really the only option for me because evrything else would be a >20 hour flight with 2+ stopps

they could have cheap plane connections to literally anywhere if they played their cards right

flying anywhere at all for me means a 3-4 hour trip, since I live in the middle of nowhere and any overseas flights from my local airport would cost upwards of 1500 USD

its so much more economical for me to take a comfy $70 train ride into Chicago and fly wherever I want at half the price

polish trains generally are overcrowded, tiny inside, and have a distinct smell of chemicals

In my neck of the woods I get to ride the Empire Builder which is the most luxurious of amtrak lines

and have compartments which I hate

tbh korean or japanese railways weren't much better (haven't tried KTX/Shinkansens, just the slow old type)
