in the hypothetical that the mother lived
and that the doctors saved her
by aborting the miscarriage
like
this is the point we've gotten to
aborting the miscarriage, sure why not
the child is already dead
But according to the law at the time they would lose their licenses most likely as they had not yet detected a threat to the mother
and now they have a death on their consciousness
It was probable and highly likely. But it hadnt been verified. Just saying that allowing for looser policy doesnt give free reign to abort everything
Better than them losing their entire life and going to jail
how is that better
Because it follows the rules ypu want them too
I rather lose everything and go to jail than have a death on my consciousness
it really makes me doubt the doctor if he thinks his livelihood is more improtant than your life
His life vs mine Id expect them to choose theirs everytime
Especially if the law backed it up
I don't want that person to treat me
anyway I'm done discussing this, got shit to do
Yeah I was kinda dragging it out despite proving my point
Cya
Hello guys, I converted to orthodox Christianity today. Do you like my new avatar?
Praise kek
I also stand with Alex Jones and his gay frogs fact <:alex:445724973475037204>
All are welcome in the house of the Lord
So long as you aren't Mormon or a Jehovah's Witness
so I can unironically believe in KEK and meme magic?
I say it as a joke (ironically)
And I forgot, Death to Islam
Islam is the religion of war.
Why does he break in with a longsword, but then pulls out a pistol? ๐ค๐
He upgraded his misericorde to lvl 10 before any other gear
Welcome to the family @Jirka
@Jirka did you really convert or are you being funny?
Ceiling cat is better
Bible man needs to quit his day job
@Deleted User I only converted to church of KEK sorry for memes
@Deleted User Seriously tho. Should I convert to regular Christianity and be a casual believer? Or you would hate guys like me who would only show up at church during Christmas?
I'd be lax Christian who keeps his faith to himself and family
Do you like or hate such guys?
i think you should actually believe in what you affiliate with
Not hate, but we kinda shake our heads at them
Believe in what you actually believe in though. Don't come to church if you're not really into it. There's no point
So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth.-Revelation 3:16
God does not want casual Christians. He wants people who have zealous devotion. So if you aren't willing to go all or nothing. God does not care.
some guy decided to convert me to Christianity
Showed me this video
and wow it was amazing and I was surprised how come I knew like 60% of stories there
and I thought I know nothing about Christianity @Deleted User
@Victus Shmmidtt Then I guess I'll never be Christian
but this video made me one step closer to enlightement
What is keeping you from going all in?
@Victus Shmmidtt Like from being orthodox conservative believer from my current agnostic atheist state?
I guess it's the atheism keeping me away from religion lol
Ah
It takes a lot of faith to believe in spontaneous creation from nothing.
I always found it sad how Atheists have more faith in their own beliefs than a good portion of Christians.
I find that to be true as well Victus. I donโt have enough faith to be an atheist.
Not to say Iโm devoid of faith. I just want more information backed belief than faith.
I can not stand the vanity and mundanity of life. God is the only thing that gives me purpose. Because without higher purpose we are all just waisting our lives on this planet for nothing.
@Jirka do you want to convert?
If you have an interest in philosophy, Summa Theologica will make a militant Catholic out of you
Idk probably not now. Now I 5% consider conversion. But I want to study about your faith more
Should I just read bible or how to study it?
It's a difficult read, long and sometimes boring
But parts of it are interesting with a lot of history
So should I idk watch Christian videos on ytb?
Or go read some forums online?
Or what
I joined a Christian server
I asked them questions about their faith
Gospel of John is a good account of Jesus' life and ministry. And of course Jesus is the center of Christianity obviously
And watched some like 8 min ytb videos
Summary of bible part by part
Romans is a good account of what the Church is
Proverbs is an old book by an ancient Israeli King, it's exactly what it sounds like. Proverbs and practical advice
1st Maccabees is like the Jewish version of the movie 300
@Deleted User What about the bible project series
Is it good?
Short videos on ytb
Yeah, it's kinda meant for kids but that makes it easy to understand
Yeah
I liked that
@Deleted User The fact it was simple and clear and easy to understand was great
Any particular denomination that draws you in or are you just exploring?
I grew up Protestant (Baptist) and converted to Roman Catholic in my adult life so I'm familiar with both
@Deleted User Any group in particular that would accept a very light ans casual believer? Or I'd just be atheist hack to you all?
I don't know how Protestants are in Europe but over here they're pretty strict. Some even believe alcohol is a sin
Catholics tend to be laid back, sometimes too much, so in some places we tend to get liberals and idiots
As Victus said, God doesnโt want a casual believer.
But I think you should expand on what you mean by โcasual believerโ.
I will of course say that I believe the one "true" church is Catholic. But it doesn't mean if you're Protestant that you're a turd
I'd rather see an atheist become a Lutheran or something than not at all
Also. If you find a large enough church, and donโt try to contribute I donโt think it matters what church you pick to sit in on.
Yeah, it might be good to attend services at several different ones just to get a feel for it
Just go in and sit towards the back or in clusters of other people. Sort of hide in plain sight.
Where I'm from if you go into a large Catholic church people probably won't even notice you.
I'm Baptist so...
Then you know it's the truth, you go into a Baptist church and everyone is gonna notice you and welcome you. You go into a Catholic Church and everyone is kneeling and praying and probably wouldn't notice a bombing raid
