Its basically like my upper but longer. PSA makes some stuff but I would personally go would with one of the kits that has a free float because you get more accuracy and heat exchange. Along with mounting capabilities
As for mounting things, I was considering swapping out the handgaurd for this https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/tacfire-ar-15-two-piece-drop-in-quad-rail-handguard-12-rifle-length-aluminum-black-hg01-12/FC-811261026810.html
And then on that add a mapgul AFG and a flashlight
The only think you have to worry about is front sight post. If you dont get a hand guard that is made for that then you have to take it off and that's a pain. It really just comes down to how efficient you want to be in your building
This one is the right length and appears to fit into the retaining cap thingy (Idk the exact name) at the front sight block.
Lol I'm not even sure what its called but awesome, the next thing you'll have to worry about is the shape of the retainer on the front sight post, mine is triangle shaped and some drop ins have to be circle. Other then that it should be all you have to worry about
Anyone else here fun a 300blk?
Run*
@Boog Toomsen Who was selling SKS's for $370?
Atlantic firearms
I can get a link
While I really want an ar-15 I'm not making any headway with my parents
Oh they're sold out
Fuck
They usually have em on gunbroker for around that price
@Boog Toomsennot a fan of quad rails my dude get an mlock and add rail as needed
Also psa ars are hit and miss qc is not great
Buy a lower from them that's fine but barrel and bcg from them for anything serious 👎
I only hear good things about PSA, idk why you guys don't like them
Also castle nut issues and a friend of mine e got thier 300blk and it would have issues setting off the rounid
Maybe it was older stuff? This has good customer reviews
I own one and I paid well under half of what my buddy spent on his rock river and side by side it performs the exact same
This be my kalash
What's up with the wood still on top of your gas system?
It came with all magpul stuff but I threw that on there to be unique
Hey that works, I hadnt ever seen that before
Exactly lol
Lol you have a fair point 🤣
Define older stuff in psa...
Also be honest how many rounds through the psa ar
My psa lower came with the buffer tube incorrectly installed
@gunsforthepoors17 Do you only think that they are incorrectly assembled or do you believe the parts are bad aswell?
I've ran lower parts kits from PSA for about 4k rounds no issue. Havent really shot their upper a whole lot
@товарищ I think in my case the lower was poorly assembled which if you do a quick google search on the forums seems to be a common issue. And the parts arent necessarily bad what you're paying for in premium option is qc garentees and high standards of production
Ok
If you're producing something en mass at low cost your not spending as much time inspecting the component and/or the raw material is cheaper. Top manufacturers are constantly trying to increase quality of materials to get an edge, palmeto makes there buck being a rifle anyone can buy...
Which is not necessarily bad but calling them the same as a duty grade or something you would entrust your life with every time.... I'll take a hard pass on thier ars...
Ok. Theoretical question, what would be better? Spending $500 on a rifle and then $1000 on training or $1500 on a rifle with no training?
