someone who has struggled with sleep from a young age, such as i, know this
You may ask me, "if you are so concerned about sleep, why are you on your computer are 3 in the morning? wouldn't that make it more difficult to sleep?" Yes, it does. However, at the state that I am in even if I were not to be on my computer I would still be lying in my bed until around 5 am or so, as I did last night. Instead of lying in bed for countless hours, I would instead want to spend my time doing something else, something not as boring as attempting to sleep whilst being wide awake.

@Maksim I see dreams as a work of God, and a light into the conscience. While we should not let dream dictate our actions they give us insight into the reasons for what we do. So in all natural elements we are meant to dream, simply because we do dream.
If we were not meant to dream, we would not.

The whole point of dreams is to not be conscious, and while a lucid dream is possible, itโs only made through mental pathways.
Dreams are dictated by emotions. This is evident if youโve ever had sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis, being where you are frozen is bound to cause fear people, which in this fear causes dreams to be frightful.
Lucid Dreaming is incredibly easy
Iโve heard of people who have had several sleep paralysis moments, but never been afraid due to them being used to it.

A natural dream is formed by the sub consciousness.
While a lucid is conscious.
That is incorrect
While lucid dreaming, the dream will still be dictated by the sub conscious unless you go out of your way to change it
It is impossible in the moment to say whether or not it is dictated by your sub conscious, so logically it is safe to say that you are controlling it.
A lucid dream is conscious, so you register what happens.

Alcoholism arises when you realize you cannot begin to effectively progress through the day without having a certain amount.

Well, you have two options:
1) Go straight-off-the-bat cold turkey
2) Set up a plan to gradually diminish your alcohol consumption and become more meager about your intake progressively

It's hard to imagine the person in question doing the second because they're already doing the first.
You could stop entirely and make tally marks on a card for every day you've not drank
that's helped me overcome certain... addictions
Person in question also takes valium/diazepam on a daily basis as a medication, but I'm afraid one day it'll turn to addiction since that's how that drug works.
It's more addictive than heroin.

i try to move her and she pulls back into her original position
