Jesus Christ. For an old v6 too?

2019-08-01 08:53:32 UTC

Im a dumbass and bought a 30 year old 13b rotary engine so i don't get dick for gas mileage

Sounds too good to me, maybe it’s reading mpg high? If not then that engine was blessed by Jesus himself, make the most it..

>expecting rotaries not to be shit except noise and revs @Mr. 2

2019-08-01 08:58:54 UTC

I knew what i was getting into. Tueure pretty neat despite the poor compression and rebuilds for a handful of seals

2019-08-01 08:59:01 UTC

Yeah I would honestly love to have a rotary if I had the money to service it

2019-08-01 09:00:43 UTC

I feel that. Coolant hose blew off the thermostat housing on the way home with it. I shoulda stuck with my tayoters lol

2019-08-01 09:01:54 UTC

I have the digital dashboard for my car, so *I think* I can trust it to some extent.
Keep in mind though, it's fine tuned for overdrive, I only drive on the highway and not the city and my average speed is 50-60, and I'm only driving at most 30 miles a day.
So there's a few different factors that I think add up to it getting good gas mileage.

Low speed and overdrive along with the complete disregard for emissions in older engines would do it I guess

2019-08-01 09:03:46 UTC

It works for me, I'll fucking take it

2019-08-01 09:04:58 UTC

Good commute vehicle. Best I was aware of was a stick shift Geo, at around 55mpg.

2019-08-01 09:05:51 UTC

When I bought the car, it only had like 3 gallons in the tank (after we bought it, we didn't have enough time to fill it up before driving home), drove it home (about 30+ miles), no problems

2019-08-01 09:09:02 UTC

By the time we got the opportunity to fill her up, she had about 1 or 2 gallons, and we had driven her only a bit more

2019-08-01 09:09:13 UTC

I love my rich Jewish grandma car

Hey, mr. 2 how would you rate your experience with the aw11, I remember you got one a bit ago? Have you had any issues?

2019-08-01 09:09:43 UTC

they tend to take care of their cars

2019-08-01 09:09:47 UTC

That poor fuel pump

2019-08-01 09:12:27 UTC

@Sleepy. Yeah, I bought it from a super old lady who kept it garaged for the entire time she had it.
I love it

2019-08-01 09:13:09 UTC

Oh yeah, I owned a 91 SW20 na, thing was great and reliable. My gfs aw11 is pretty nice, driven it a few times. Only 60k miles so everything works pretty well. I'm pretty biased about these cars, love them a ton. Only issue we ran into was her old battery was dead. Although the 85 is notorious for a 5th gear pop out issue but no symptoms of that yet

2019-08-01 09:13:43 UTC

Peiple exaggerate their tendency to snap oversteer but if you're driving priperly and have decent tires you wouldn't have an issue

2019-08-01 09:13:47 UTC

Yeah I heard about the ECU and gearbox being problems, but I thought the 4AGE was pretty bulletproof

Thinking about getting a aw11 this summer

2019-08-01 09:15:12 UTC

I recommend, if you can fit in it that is

2019-08-01 09:15:25 UTC

Theyre hard to find in decent shape for a reasonable price

I would have it install another seat, I know that much

In UK they are VERY cheap but the insurance kills it, I’ve been saving for a while.

Anyway, thanks for the info

2019-08-01 09:18:27 UTC

@SheepTeeth The car I miss was my 1992 Saturn coupe. Total POS, was made of more plastic than metal, but had a great drive response, and next to no pull on turns. Felt a little more like a go kart than a car.

2019-08-01 09:20:23 UTC

Looks and sounds fun

2019-08-01 09:21:01 UTC

It's always nice to drive something you actually like/enjoy driving

2019-08-01 09:26:57 UTC

Yeah, I was stuck in an Alero for a couple years. Really fat feeling. Poor accell and a heavy ass. Have a Civic now. It's pretty good. I see why people mod them. I like cars you get a bit of feedback from. Feeling the road and machinery through minor vibrations.

2019-08-01 09:27:22 UTC

Not a fan of the ultra smooth newer cars

2019-08-01 09:32:33 UTC

No prob. I know insurance for her aw11 is like 120 a month idk how rates are in the UK but you coukd just be like me and drive without it lol

2019-08-01 09:33:22 UTC

I thought about a civic but too many people have them around here

2019-08-01 09:37:27 UTC

They hit a sweet spot of cheap, reliable, and decent performance, but they're super basic, and working on them is a little bit of a pain.

2019-08-01 09:39:51 UTC

What year is yours?

2019-08-01 09:40:31 UTC

Mr. 2 can’t drive with out insurance in the uk :(

2019-08-02 17:37:06 UTC

Working on another dirt bike @Deleted User , might paint it Soviet green and add a red star to match the Crusty Mak

2019-08-02 17:37:15 UTC

And fabricate a holster on it for the Mak

2019-08-07 09:35:47 UTC

2019-08-08 23:56:39 UTC

300zx? Damn i remember when you could pick one up for less than 5k

I'm just surprised to see an old prelude in such good condition

Doesn't even have an enthusiast licence ( they have brown plates) so idk why it's so clean.

Why the nigger rims @Deleted User

2019-08-16 05:30:29 UTC

@KomradeKaufman if they were nigger rims they’d be chrome

2019-08-16 05:30:34 UTC

Niggers don’t use black rims
