Jesus Christ. For an old v6 too?
Im a dumbass and bought a 30 year old 13b rotary engine so i don't get dick for gas mileage
Sounds too good to me, maybe it’s reading mpg high? If not then that engine was blessed by Jesus himself, make the most it..
>expecting rotaries not to be shit except noise and revs @Mr. 2
I knew what i was getting into. Tueure pretty neat despite the poor compression and rebuilds for a handful of seals
They're*
Yeah I would honestly love to have a rotary if I had the money to service it
And the money for gas
I feel that. Coolant hose blew off the thermostat housing on the way home with it. I shoulda stuck with my tayoters lol
I have the digital dashboard for my car, so *I think* I can trust it to some extent.
Keep in mind though, it's fine tuned for overdrive, I only drive on the highway and not the city and my average speed is 50-60, and I'm only driving at most 30 miles a day.
So there's a few different factors that I think add up to it getting good gas mileage.
Low speed and overdrive along with the complete disregard for emissions in older engines would do it I guess
It works for me, I'll fucking take it
Good commute vehicle. Best I was aware of was a stick shift Geo, at around 55mpg.
When I bought the car, it only had like 3 gallons in the tank (after we bought it, we didn't have enough time to fill it up before driving home), drove it home (about 30+ miles), no problems
By the time we got the opportunity to fill her up, she had about 1 or 2 gallons, and we had driven her only a bit more
Hey, mr. 2 how would you rate your experience with the aw11, I remember you got one a bit ago? Have you had any issues?
they tend to take care of their cars
That poor fuel pump
@Sleepy. Yeah, I bought it from a super old lady who kept it garaged for the entire time she had it.
I love it
Oh yeah, I owned a 91 SW20 na, thing was great and reliable. My gfs aw11 is pretty nice, driven it a few times. Only 60k miles so everything works pretty well. I'm pretty biased about these cars, love them a ton. Only issue we ran into was her old battery was dead. Although the 85 is notorious for a 5th gear pop out issue but no symptoms of that yet
Peiple exaggerate their tendency to snap oversteer but if you're driving priperly and have decent tires you wouldn't have an issue
People*
Yeah I heard about the ECU and gearbox being problems, but I thought the 4AGE was pretty bulletproof
Thinking about getting a aw11 this summer
I recommend, if you can fit in it that is
Theyre hard to find in decent shape for a reasonable price
I would have it install another seat, I know that much
In UK they are VERY cheap but the insurance kills it, I’ve been saving for a while.
Anyway, thanks for the info
@SheepTeeth The car I miss was my 1992 Saturn coupe. Total POS, was made of more plastic than metal, but had a great drive response, and next to no pull on turns. Felt a little more like a go kart than a car.
Looks and sounds fun
It's always nice to drive something you actually like/enjoy driving
Yeah, I was stuck in an Alero for a couple years. Really fat feeling. Poor accell and a heavy ass. Have a Civic now. It's pretty good. I see why people mod them. I like cars you get a bit of feedback from. Feeling the road and machinery through minor vibrations.
Not a fan of the ultra smooth newer cars
No prob. I know insurance for her aw11 is like 120 a month idk how rates are in the UK but you coukd just be like me and drive without it lol
