2017-09-30 18:16:12 UTC

This channel is for plans or ideas you might have regarding our settlement, including possible locations and any general thoughts.

2017-09-30 21:01:38 UTC

the current approximate timeline is a year from now we will see how many people are ready to make a move and decide on a location.

2017-10-01 19:37:09 UTC

Trees, running water, and roads

2017-10-01 19:38:28 UTC

that one is really nice

2017-10-01 19:39:23 UTC

no other civilization near by though, which will likely make things difficult

2017-10-01 19:40:05 UTC

hmm, I'll keep searching; going offline for now

2017-10-08 23:49:43 UTC

Idea: print redpills on wifi printers, leave redpills in public printers etc

2017-10-09 00:24:06 UTC

2017-10-09 02:52:09 UTC

I would do this on college printers.

2017-10-09 02:52:53 UTC

i cant imagine it changing anybodys mind

2017-10-09 02:53:42 UTC

probably not. Most likely it would get very few people looking into it. If not anything else, it will just piss some people off

2017-10-09 14:56:06 UTC

If you did do it they would have to be short and sweet, no memes like hitler did nothing wrong, a race and crime excerpt would work

2017-10-09 20:24:39 UTC

Best would probably be things that just reel the person in, into researching it for themselves. Having them ask themselves questions and such.

2017-10-09 20:48:35 UTC

2017-10-09 20:48:50 UTC

We should have a serious conversation about plans sometime

2017-10-09 20:52:51 UTC

you can have such a discussion any time

2017-10-09 20:56:06 UTC

do you have something specific in mind croc?

2017-10-09 20:57:24 UTC

I would say that even though many of our people have lost the focus or belief in our moral inheritance, it is paramount that we look back unto "the true faith" that our parents left us.. it is why the JEWS are trying to wipe us out, they hate us because (non Jewish) whites are culturally the principal purveyors of Christianity which exposes [email protected] frauds of their own religion.

2017-10-09 21:01:12 UTC

It will require submissiveness and reform as a people.

2017-10-09 21:01:29 UTC

we've had too much submissiveness

2017-10-09 21:01:49 UTC

But with out faith, their is no foundation for law.. and there will be lawlessness

2017-10-09 21:02:31 UTC

Submissiveness to original Christianity is masculine and dominant.

2017-10-09 21:02:38 UTC

good points, although I think this belongs in <#359510066623283202>

2017-10-09 21:02:42 UTC

See the crusades

2017-10-09 21:03:06 UTC

Oh.. gotcha..

2017-10-09 21:04:29 UTC

I mean we should talk in VC

2017-10-09 21:05:40 UTC

orchid is almost always in VC desu, pop in any time

2017-10-09 21:06:51 UTC

As a group

2017-10-09 21:06:57 UTC

Not all of us

2017-10-09 21:07:01 UTC

There is too many

2017-10-09 21:07:09 UTC

But the most serious of us

2017-10-09 21:07:49 UTC

you mean sometime in the future?

2017-10-09 21:08:05 UTC

because right now were still gathering members

2017-10-09 21:08:38 UTC

We already probably have too many members to have a coherent conversation

2017-10-09 21:09:03 UTC

Unless you just want to relay group discussions to others

2017-10-09 21:09:40 UTC

we really dont, I think only a fraction of this discords members are active and are willing to move someday soon

2017-10-09 21:09:48 UTC

even fewer have the means to do it in the immediate future

2017-10-09 21:10:02 UTC

I can’t do it in the immediate future

2017-10-09 21:10:09 UTC

But I’m still serious about it

2017-10-09 21:10:10 UTC

most of these people don't care and only want to LARP or lurk, at most i would expect 20 people in a preannounced convo desu

2017-10-09 21:10:27 UTC

>implying you don’t want to LARP

2017-10-09 21:10:43 UTC

>implying LARPing is a bad thing

2017-10-09 21:10:47 UTC

> implying i do

2017-10-09 21:10:53 UTC

well thats why the planning will have to take place ove several months

2017-10-09 21:10:57 UTC

2017-10-09 21:11:18 UTC

Live Action Role Playing is a good thing, how?

2017-10-09 21:11:33 UTC

You LARP as what you want to be

2017-10-09 21:11:39 UTC

And eventually you become it

2017-10-09 21:12:02 UTC

no, you become what you want to be, you learn it, faking it till you make it is plebean tier and never works

2017-10-09 21:12:10 UTC

I’ve literally transmorphed into a crocodile

2017-10-09 21:12:20 UTC

2017-10-09 21:12:35 UTC

You still need LARP

2017-10-09 21:12:37 UTC

by the way, anybody who is really serious about doing this should be posting in member-bio, I will eventuakly promote you to citizen and that will give you acess to a separate planning channel where we can talk about this in more depth

2017-10-09 21:12:39 UTC

just not too much

2017-10-09 21:12:51 UTC

My bio is there

2017-10-09 21:13:04 UTC

2017-10-09 21:13:39 UTC

then I think I'll eventually have to single out the people who are actually ready to go

2017-10-09 21:15:01 UTC

I’m fairly young

2017-10-09 21:15:09 UTC

And not making any good money

2017-10-09 21:15:24 UTC

So it will be some years before I can make a serious attempt

2017-10-09 21:15:38 UTC

But my honest prediction is that this will fail

2017-10-09 21:15:44 UTC

> LARPing is a good place to start

2017-10-09 21:15:56 UTC

kinda same boat with croc a little bit, excluding a prediction

2017-10-09 21:16:03 UTC

>literally LARPing as a Christian saint

2017-10-09 21:16:13 UTC

I’ll explain it to you later

2017-10-09 21:16:19 UTC

if you think this will fail why are you here?

2017-10-09 21:16:34 UTC

But for now I’m saying that this has repeatedly not got anywhere

2017-10-09 21:16:46 UTC

regardless of if it fails or not, getting contacts out of it seems worthwhile nonetheless

2017-10-09 21:16:51 UTC

Guys like Harold Covington have tried

2017-10-09 21:17:13 UTC

But there is a profound apathy that pervades white peopke

2017-10-09 21:17:20 UTC

Even the men in our circles

2017-10-09 21:17:41 UTC

So my hopes are basically zero. But I will still try.

2017-10-09 21:17:44 UTC

Yeah whatever happened to that guy?

2017-10-09 21:17:53 UTC

He’s still making a podcast

2017-10-09 21:18:02 UTC

Just nothing ever happened

2017-10-09 21:18:19 UTC

These things build upon themselves

2017-10-09 21:18:26 UTC

2017-10-09 21:18:44 UTC

I think white people are apathetic because they've been beaten down for so long, they've forgotten that it's OK to stand up and be proud of who we are

2017-10-09 21:19:33 UTC

once we normalize white identity, it'll only be natural for them to want to be around their kind, openly and explicitly, whereas right now it's just an implicit, "white flight" sort of thing

2017-10-09 21:20:04 UTC

I think the problem with Covington is he was too explicitly natsoc

2017-10-09 21:20:25 UTC

Tfw no natsoc ethno state

2017-10-09 21:20:28 UTC

not that it was wrong, it was just too much info too quickly for the normie

2017-10-09 21:20:33 UTC

If, if we normalize white identity

2017-10-09 21:20:50 UTC

if we exude self confidence in white identity, and have an overall positive message, that'll go a long way

2017-10-09 21:21:12 UTC

we don't need to get into the technicals of whether or not charging usury is valid

2017-10-09 21:21:51 UTC

we just need to push the meme that "we're building a homeland for white people... a place where you can raise families and feel safe"

2017-10-09 21:22:19 UTC

If you guys want we can talk later today

2017-10-09 21:23:00 UTC

the important think is that you all focus on self improvmement; learning skills, making money, and all that. If you can do that then moving to a community wont be hard. I suspect that the reason other groups fail is because the individual members dont have their lives in order and assume that the group will provide them with everything they need. If you can be adult enough to move to some town and build/buy a home there, then thats all you ultimately need to suceed. It's important to view this discord as primarily a tool for learning and connecting with people, everything else is in your own hands.

2017-10-09 21:24:08 UTC

this is why most leftist communes fail

2017-10-09 21:24:24 UTC

2017-10-09 21:34:32 UTC

Suggestion: Is there anything we can do to get people more involved in the server? I mean it in the sense of, lets say we have 500 people on the server, but only like 40 or 50 are really involved in it. Of course people who want to be involved are going to be active, but I'm worried about if say someone joins and loses interest in the community after some time? The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is something like game nights or maybe branches of users directly engaging other users in chats and stuff (self improvement squads?).

2017-10-09 21:34:43 UTC

idk, sorta just a spitball thought

2017-10-09 21:35:43 UTC

although we do already have some cool stuff like movie nights and book club

2017-10-09 21:39:13 UTC

for community stuff, i try to host a filmclub weekly, Polak just started a book club (see announcements)

2017-10-09 21:39:53 UTC

beyond that everyones encouraged to discuss random stuff and shit-post in appropriate channels to stay engaged

2017-10-09 21:42:34 UTC

Beyond that it might be enough for some people to just check in occasionally, the important thing is that people here maintain contact, even if they dont post on a regular basis

2017-10-09 21:42:59 UTC

2017-10-09 21:45:20 UTC

It depends on how far we want to go... maybe a newsletter, lol

2017-10-09 21:45:34 UTC

Also, I'm sure it's been asked before, but what is the fallback incase this server get ((shutdown))

2017-10-09 21:46:39 UTC

maybe we could put making a website on the bucket list

2017-10-09 21:47:00 UTC

or some custom chat client

2017-10-09 21:47:17 UTC

yeah, well have to look into that

2017-10-09 21:47:23 UTC

2017-10-09 21:47:39 UTC

you have any particular ideas about other chat clients

2017-10-09 21:48:55 UTC

no, I only mention it because the other day I saw some anon discussing making their own client that's fullproof, over in general I think

2017-10-09 21:49:16 UTC

He'd probably have some of the best ideas on that topic, in the server

2017-10-09 21:49:28 UTC

We need to be integrating more closely to True Cascadia

2017-10-09 21:49:33 UTC

do they have an official discord?

2017-10-09 21:49:52 UTC

2017-10-09 21:50:12 UTC

i dont even know what they do

2017-10-09 21:50:22 UTC

arent they just activists or something?

2017-10-09 21:52:30 UTC

```Promote a White ethnic consciousness in the Pacific Northwest and prevent, as well as reverse, the increasingly discriminatory policies enacted in opposition to Whites in our own homelands.
Encourage traditionalism by investing in traditional family values, and stopping the degradation of White culture.
Regain our sovereignty and prevent foreign influence on our people.
Stop the continuation of non-White immigration into our communities and rebuild our sociocultural infrastructure.```
2017-10-09 21:52:49 UTC
I think it's just a growing network of alt-right people in the area
2017-10-09 22:02:29 UTC
Ill get in touch
2017-10-09 22:28:27 UTC
just, you know, be careful
2017-10-09 22:29:53 UTC
yea I'm just asking them what they do, i have no interest in getting involved with somebody without good reason
2017-10-09 22:30:16 UTC
2017-10-09 22:30:36 UTC
there's probably an idiom somewhere about the danger of aging revolutionaries
2017-10-09 22:30:43 UTC
if not, i'll pen one
2017-10-09 22:31:54 UTC
theres some scary old white guys doing a vulture squat over the USA convinced itll die in their lifetime and they'll get to feast
2017-10-09 22:32:23 UTC
and they're getting older every day, and i just dont see a balkanization happening anytime soon tbh
2017-10-09 22:33:13 UTC
thats a long vidyo
2017-10-09 22:33:47 UTC
yeah there's a lot of stuff they go over
2017-10-09 22:34:12 UTC
2017-10-09 22:34:18 UTC
have you watched the whole thing?
2017-10-09 22:34:30 UTC
yes, a while ago when it first came out
2017-10-09 22:34:46 UTC
that's how I found out about this movement of people wanting to do this
2017-10-09 22:34:59 UTC
are they covington styled 'outside the government' people, or 'within the government' people?
2017-10-09 22:36:04 UTC
They're not too concerned with the government, it sounds like
2017-10-09 22:36:10 UTC
i hate to ask you to do my homework for me here, but i dont hate it enough to not ask
2017-10-09 22:36:11 UTC
they're very much "meta-political"
2017-10-09 22:36:54 UTC
it seems as tho they're more interested in building community, rather than the particulars of policy or economics
2017-10-09 22:37:25 UTC
one of my big gripes with covington, other than the whole hes a nut bit is that hes basically written off the current government and has decided to just wait on the next one, that he'll theoretically lead/be a part of
2017-10-09 22:37:44 UTC
that sounds larpy
2017-10-09 22:37:50 UTC
yeah well
2017-10-09 22:38:25 UTC
whatever the case may be, the most important thing is we develop the cultural network
2017-10-09 22:38:34 UTC
rather than iron out a constitution
2017-10-09 22:38:45 UTC
2017-10-09 22:38:48 UTC
2017-10-09 22:39:02 UTC
build the skills, become self-reliant, move up to the PNW, and advocate for white identity
2017-10-09 22:39:26 UTC
if there ever comes a time where we're going to have to sort out a new government, we'll deal work it out then
2017-10-09 22:39:43 UTC
for now, none of that crap will matter if there are no people to govern
2017-10-09 22:44:13 UTC
those kinds of specifics are up to the people who physically live in the community
2017-10-10 16:56:54 UTC
Ive made some significant changes to the about channel, it's now <#359432753474699274> and a lot of the text has been rewritten. Share your thoughts.
2017-10-10 20:53:04 UTC
@Orchid I think it looks good πŸ‘
2017-10-10 20:53:58 UTC
When will we be deciding where to make the move? What are the criteria we're looking out for? I've done a ton of readind and research into all parts of the PNW, and the rest of the country. It all started years ago when I read Skousen's Strategic Relocation book.
2017-10-10 20:54:14 UTC
Yeah, that's more in line. Good job.
2017-10-10 20:54:28 UTC
I have a pretty good idea of the general parts of the country, their demographic trajectory, and their strategic advantages and disadvantages
2017-10-10 20:57:28 UTC
Right now we want to wait about a year, and then see how many people are ready to go, and then depending on that we might adjust the timeline. If you know alot about the region's geography, thats really useful
2017-10-10 21:00:08 UTC
it might be worth looking up some sort of documentation about what's best for non-us-nationals to do
2017-10-10 21:00:59 UTC
We can discuss various locations at anytime, and have already discussed some. Some of the criteria we are looking for: good arable land and climate, presence of a small town (about 2000 people or less), relative proximity of a larger city is preferrable. Access to fresh water, good natural obstacles like lakes or mountains, and proximity to renewable energy like hydroelectric dams is preferrable
2017-10-10 21:01:09 UTC
generally speaking, guest or visitation type visas are very easy to get, if this gets off the ground, it could be worth setting up a 'fake' university for people to get student visas for
2017-10-10 21:01:43 UTC
that could be very illlegal though, we could for a company and sponsor workers
2017-10-10 21:01:44 UTC
whenever i went to russia, there's always 'fake hotels' that send you their invitations for visas
2017-10-10 21:02:43 UTC
dont need that anymore now, since i can travel without visa along with my wife now
2017-10-10 21:02:57 UTC
but going for work-visas is tricky
2017-10-10 21:03:38 UTC
because for that to work, you'd have to have a position advertised on the 'domestic market' for 6 months, and are only eligable to bring in people if you cant find the specialisation in the country
2017-10-10 21:04:03 UTC
also the company has to pay a shitload for it essentially
2017-10-10 21:04:23 UTC
so it'd have to be something that becomes economically viable, break-even at minimum.
2017-10-10 21:06:02 UTC
hopefully someone here has some experience with this stuff, it needs to be discussed more
2017-10-10 21:13:49 UTC
well, as with most things, it becomes easier as soon as there legitimately IS some sort of established community
2017-10-10 21:22:20 UTC
@Marlow Since you seem to know this stuff, whats your opinion of western WA and OR, compared to states like Idaho and Wyoming?
2017-10-10 21:22:48 UTC
How much harsher is the climate, and what advantages do you think one has over the other?
2017-10-10 21:23:07 UTC
Do you mean Eastern?
2017-10-10 21:23:14 UTC
because Western is a no-go
2017-10-10 21:23:19 UTC
2017-10-10 21:23:28 UTC
seismic and population issues
2017-10-10 21:23:49 UTC
yes there are bigger population centers, so it's easier to find work
2017-10-10 21:24:04 UTC
but the politics of those areas is terrible
2017-10-10 21:24:42 UTC
there are some places that are better suited outside of those cities, if you really need access to the economy there, but I advise Idaho or Montana
2017-10-10 21:24:50 UTC
much friendlier politically and culturally
2017-10-10 21:27:06 UTC
climate is also sunnier and swings to seasonal extremes more as you travel east, Finally when you hit the rockies, expect a slightly wetter climate, a little more snow, and up in the rockies by the continental divide (Columbia Falls, etc.) much more snow, shorter growing season, colder overall temperatures, etc.
2017-10-10 21:27:44 UTC
the happy medium, to me, seams to be the Idaho panhandle, Benewah, Kootenai, and Bonner county
2017-10-10 21:28:52 UTC
I would recommend the eastern areas of Washington and Orgeon, were it not for the governments there, but at the same time if you're looking for safety and good demographics, those places are excellent.
2017-10-10 21:30:40 UTC
Coeur D'Alene has a population of about 50,000 and is close to Spokane, so it's not too isolated from the conveniences of civilization, Moscow further south is about half that and is a different ecology (high plains). We need to define our goals... do we want to "take over" a town? Or do we want to participate as a vocal minority in the politics?
2017-10-10 21:31:23 UTC
Do we want to buy one big patch of land together and start a "commune" lol.... there was this "Citadel" project that kinda fell flat
2017-10-10 21:31:37 UTC
vocal minority
2017-10-10 21:32:04 UTC
I think it would be better if we just made a general push to move to a specific town and the surrounding areas, and focused on making that town /our place/
2017-10-10 21:32:26 UTC
taking anything over is unfeasable, and bth im not really intereseted in living around only other /pol/lacks
2017-10-10 21:32:45 UTC
yeah I know what you mean
2017-10-10 21:33:06 UTC
its a recipe for a failed state
2017-10-10 21:33:08 UTC
in that case I submit Coeur D'Alene or Sandpoint as my suggestion
2017-10-10 21:33:55 UTC
Sandpoint has 8000 residents, and an older population than Coeur D'Alene
2017-10-10 21:34:18 UTC
I have 4 kids, one of the big things for me is to find a place where there are other young families
2017-10-10 21:34:21 UTC
ive looked around Coeur D'Alene before, it looks like its mostly mountains, is there enough arable land there?
2017-10-10 21:34:37 UTC
Yes, there's enough to work with for personal gardening
2017-10-10 21:34:43 UTC
as far as large scale farming I'm not so sure
2017-10-10 21:36:07 UTC
2017-10-10 21:36:07 UTC
also that area looks like it is full of sparse suburbs or cottages
2017-10-10 21:36:33 UTC
it's got population and demographic stats mapped for the years 1990, 2000, and 2010, to give you an idea of where the white population is growing
2017-10-10 21:36:33 UTC
wow that map is awesome!
2017-10-10 21:36:45 UTC
yeah it's really useful
Ive also considered Potlatch ID
2017-10-10 21:37:17 UTC
land is really cheap
2017-10-10 21:37:43 UTC
Potlatch is really, really low in population
2017-10-10 21:38:06 UTC
and it might be too small for our people to find good work
2017-10-10 21:38:58 UTC
that would be a good target if we wanted to take over completely
2017-10-10 21:40:52 UTC
pop is 804, i dont expect anything near that many people to be with us
2017-10-10 21:42:04 UTC
but if enough of our guys move out there and we get active politically, then yeah it could happen
2017-10-10 21:42:19 UTC
but, again, the economic factor is limiting
2017-10-10 21:42:36 UTC
so it's just something to think about
2017-10-10 21:43:06 UTC
I think it would work best if we chose a decently sized city, and moved there or the surrounding lands
2017-10-10 21:43:45 UTC
because for most people, it's a big deal to have access to good shopping and such
2017-10-10 21:44:13 UTC
well being in a decent sized city pretty much defeats the purpose
2017-10-10 21:44:34 UTC
its true
2017-10-10 21:44:43 UTC
I think there are places that strike a good balance
2017-10-10 21:45:03 UTC
and my hope is that most people will be somewhat self-sufficient
2017-10-10 21:45:53 UTC
Maybe we can pick a specific small town next to one of these cities
2017-10-10 21:46:03 UTC
like maybe a half hour or so away
2017-10-10 21:46:21 UTC
so people could still commute if they want to
2017-10-10 21:46:58 UTC
something like that
2017-10-10 21:47:05 UTC
well potlatch is about 15 mils from Moscow ID
2017-10-10 21:47:36 UTC
```Race in Athol, Idaho
98.00% of people are white, 0.00% are black, 0.00% are asian, 0.00% are native american, and 0.00% claim 'Other'.```

2017-10-10 21:47:43 UTC

bingo... found it!

2017-10-10 21:47:46 UTC

this is our home.

2017-10-10 21:47:47 UTC

2017-10-10 21:48:07 UTC

it looks like its entirely sparse suburbs

2017-10-10 21:49:18 UTC

and it doesnt looks like theres any farming going on there, probably for a good reason

2017-10-10 21:49:55 UTC

another one we have considered is Mossy Rock WA

2017-10-10 21:50:04 UTC

or any town in that valley

2017-10-10 21:50:40 UTC

interesting choice

2017-10-10 21:52:22 UTC

We gotta think about the economic opportunities if this thing is going to have any legs

2017-10-10 21:52:43 UTC

we can grow food pretty much anywhere if we're in a good grow zone

2017-10-10 21:53:16 UTC

this is good tho, it's good we disagree somewhat on this, and that we have different things we're looking for

2017-10-10 21:53:39 UTC

the reason I like it is because its not very populated, has great natural obstacles, lots of freshwater and timber as well as a few dams

2017-10-10 21:53:40 UTC

it's going result in making a better decision in the end

2017-10-10 21:53:52 UTC

those are important considerations

2017-10-10 21:54:11 UTC

It does look like a place you could go full Varg

2017-10-10 21:54:21 UTC

which is where I eventially want to end up

2017-10-10 21:54:22 UTC

downside is its a bit expensive

2017-10-10 21:54:56 UTC

but its probably expensive for a reason, like the good climate and rainfall

2017-10-10 21:55:07 UTC

full Varg?

2017-10-10 21:55:20 UTC

oh right

2017-10-10 21:55:22 UTC

that dude

2017-10-10 21:55:23 UTC

Yeah you know Varg Vikernes

2017-10-10 21:55:54 UTC

he's always preaching to people to live a more traditional lifestyle away from collapsing civilization, have lots of kids, become self-reliant, etc.

2017-10-10 21:56:50 UTC

some people here have talked about wanting to go full log cabin wilderness survivalits. It's not my cup of tea but I do want to accomodate them

2017-10-10 21:57:38 UTC

Yeah that's why I feel like moving next to a small city (pop 25k -50k or so) would be best

2017-10-10 21:57:50 UTC

I want to be self reliant, but i like some of the benefits of civilization

2017-10-10 21:57:59 UTC

because you would attract people who want to be part of the community, but want to be more isolated, they can just move further away

2017-10-10 21:58:02 UTC

25-50k is big though

2017-10-10 21:58:27 UTC

it can be lower

2017-10-10 21:58:30 UTC

like 10k

2017-10-10 21:58:36 UTC

Sandpoint is a good place for that

2017-10-10 21:58:46 UTC

you cant really have influence of a town that big
