RUSSIANS INDICTED: WHAT WE KNOW:
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein's indictment alleges:
-Russian agents hacked into the computer networks of the Democratic National Committee and the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton.
-They then offered the hacked info to a number of Americans with hopes of helping then-candidate Trump & hurting Hillary Clinton.
-One of the hackers ("Guccifer 2.0") was communicating with a person who was in regular contact with the Trump campaign.
-No vote tallies were altered by hacking.
-An unnamed candidate for Congress approached the agents asking for some of the hacked emails.

CONROE, Texas - A Houston woman accused of offering to sell her 2-year-old daughter for sex at a cost of $1,200 has been sentenced to 40 years in prison.
Twenty-five-year-old Sarah Marie Peters was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to charges that include promotion of prostitution.

Authorities say undercover officers in Montgomery County, north of Houston, encountered Peters online on a social media site. They say she forwarded photos of young girls and asked if there was anyone who wanted "to have fun" with her daughter.
Detectives watched Peters board a bus in Houston with her daughter to travel to Conroe, where she thought she was meeting a man who would pay for sex with the toddler.
She was arrested Feb. 22. Her daughter is the custody of state Child Protective Services.

One thing thatโs interesting about all this is that, for some time, the US intelligence community did not attribute the probes of voter registration databases to Russian intelligence. A September 20 DHS alert attributed it to criminal hackers seeking identity theft data. The October 7 ODNI/DHS statement affirmatively declined to attribute it. Mexico's president-elect and his cabinet are proposing drastic changes to security and immigration policies.
On Friday, several Trump administration officials, including U.S. State Secretary Mike Pompeo and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielson, will meet with President-Elect Andrรฉs Manuel Lรณpez Obrador in Mexico City.
After populist, left-leaning Lรณpez Obrador won the Mexican presidential election last week, his future cabinet members have proposed several new solutions to help stop the daily drug and human trafficking in Mexicoโmuch of it going through our border in the Rio Grande Valley.
In a recent interview with El Financiero-Bloomberg in Mexico, Lรณpez Obrador's future security secretary, Alfonso Durazo, said he would like to create a Mexican Border Patrol that will be on both Mexico's northern and southern borders.
Itโs a move Durazo says will dissuade Central American migrants, along with stopping drugs from going through and weapons entering Mexico.
"The power of the cartels cannot be disassociated from the problems of development that the country has," Lรณpez-Levy said.
UTRGV political science lecturer Arturo Lopez Levy says many of the security and poverty-fighting ideas the newest Mexican leader has proposed has favored the Trump administration.
Experts say both Trump and Lรณpez Obrador might seem like an unlikely pair that will both fight these issues.
"They both look like disrupters, but up to now, we have seen that they have tried to avoid a pre-mature clash," said Lopez Levy.
And to help combat poverty, illegal immigration and corruption in Mexico, Lรณpez Obrador ran on a campaign of backing the poorest as a way to bring more rule-of-law to Mexico and its borders.
The meeting between U.S. leaders and Mexican officials also will include a visit with current Mexican President Enrique Peรฑa Nieto before getting together with President-elect Lรณpez Obrador in Mexico City.
