I would require people to hit a certain level on the SAT because it would both screen foreign language and it correlates highly with IQ for people who do speak english

SAT is a good IQ test

it’s also an established test

correlates very well

the issue is you can study for it

so that's really what skews it

There are certain tricks to those tests

with no studying

but no one ever taught me how to take it
