2018-09-22 13:14:03 UTC

do you see the side view o fthe model

2018-09-22 13:14:14 UTC

you say that its every 100 feet and its 500 feet long

2018-09-22 13:14:15 UTC

I can get a picture of that if you like?

2018-09-22 13:14:30 UTC

this pic is fine to illustrate my point

2018-09-22 13:14:35 UTC

alright

2018-09-22 13:14:37 UTC

all the 5 cubes are at the end of the hallway

2018-09-22 13:14:58 UTC

its not evenly dispersed

2018-09-22 13:15:08 UTC

every 100 feet is not a cube

2018-09-22 13:15:10 UTC

now *that* is perspective

2018-09-22 13:15:18 UTC

hold on

2018-09-22 13:15:39 UTC

show a top down view

2018-09-22 13:15:52 UTC

because I don't see that, you need them evenly dispersed

2018-09-22 13:16:15 UTC

whoops

2018-09-22 13:16:36 UTC

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/484515890759729182/493047971659644929/2018-09-22_23-15-54.mp4

2018-09-22 13:17:08 UTC

dammit the mouse cursor is a bit off

2018-09-22 13:17:17 UTC

but that's not important, I was just highlighting where the cubes were

2018-09-22 13:17:28 UTC

okay, that looks even

2018-09-22 13:17:53 UTC

no bunching them up on the end

2018-09-22 13:17:57 UTC

ye ye

2018-09-22 13:18:08 UTC

you trying to hide my ship with the boxes that are bunched up aren't you?

2018-09-22 13:18:14 UTC

no?

2018-09-22 13:18:17 UTC

perspective

2018-09-22 13:18:21 UTC

I can remove all of them except the one at the end?

2018-09-22 13:18:43 UTC

I'm joking about how your proving the point of perpsective

2018-09-22 13:18:50 UTC

You are being disingenuous firefurry

2018-09-22 13:18:57 UTC

how? ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

2018-09-22 13:19:11 UTC

also, my name is fireflash, but someone changed it

2018-09-22 13:19:15 UTC

<:angery:486195953410244608>

2018-09-22 13:19:45 UTC

You never showed your "model" at a parallel view extending outward from the observer point

2018-09-22 13:19:54 UTC

oh, I can do that

2018-09-22 13:20:12 UTC

Your line will just become at edge

2018-09-22 13:20:14 UTC

so, from the start of the hallway, looking in which direction, sorry?

2018-09-22 13:20:37 UTC

It would contradict your mathematical globe model

2018-09-22 13:20:48 UTC

I don't care, I want to learn new things ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

2018-09-22 13:22:06 UTC

which way do you want me to point it..? :(

2018-09-22 13:23:03 UTC

Your observer point should be looking straight down the line at a height of about 6 ft. Then extend the line 5 miles

2018-09-22 13:23:21 UTC

okie

2018-09-22 13:23:27 UTC

Most of the line will appear to be gone

2018-09-22 13:23:34 UTC

which "line"

2018-09-22 13:23:46 UTC

The line in your model

2018-09-22 13:24:12 UTC

there's many... sorry, I'm not trying to be difficult, I just really don't know which one you want :(

2018-09-22 13:24:28 UTC

The last one

2018-09-22 13:25:33 UTC

If u look.straight down it at a low height
..the line will start becoming unresolvable at some point

2018-09-22 13:25:57 UTC

practical demonstration of that video Citizen linked

2018-09-22 13:26:40 UTC

6:42

2018-09-22 13:27:10 UTC

Ohhhh, I see.... so it's the bluring of the chair there, that obscures the bit of the coin?

2018-09-22 13:27:28 UTC

its on a table

2018-09-22 13:27:32 UTC

oh, whoops

2018-09-22 13:27:35 UTC

close enough

2018-09-22 13:28:05 UTC

your angle is low enough to the ground that the ground is blocking the bottom of the coin

2018-09-22 13:28:14 UTC

your viewing angle

2018-09-22 13:28:15 UTC

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/484515890759729182/493050899317522453/convergence.gif

2018-09-22 13:28:17 UTC

I understand that now, okay.

2018-09-22 13:28:47 UTC

that's only if the table is in front of the camera though

2018-09-22 13:29:17 UTC

I am just assuming the picture I posted is someone on a beach zooming in

2018-09-22 13:29:23 UTC

I would not say they put the camera on the ground

2018-09-22 13:29:32 UTC

that would definitely mess with the shot

2018-09-22 13:29:49 UTC

Simulating miles and miles of light angles on a table.

2018-09-22 13:30:05 UTC

Thr video.shows coins on the table halfway

2018-09-22 13:30:10 UTC

the table is right in the middle of the frame though

2018-09-22 13:30:15 UTC

angle matters where they are viewing the ship, but eventually given enough water and area, the ship will eventually start to go over the fake horizon because of perspective and optics

2018-09-22 13:30:28 UTC

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/484515890759729182/493051459827531776/unknown.png

2018-09-22 13:30:31 UTC

zoomed out

2018-09-22 13:30:37 UTC

its fake because you can zoom in to re-aquire it

2018-09-22 13:30:39 UTC

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/484515890759729182/493051505348313118/unknown.png

2018-09-22 13:30:40 UTC

zoomed in

2018-09-22 13:30:45 UTC

this is a flat plane here

2018-09-22 13:30:46 UTC

See the coins sitting on table. Right side

2018-09-22 13:30:48 UTC

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/484515890759729182/493051543856087080/unknown-138.png

2018-09-22 13:31:07 UTC

But with those, the camera is level with the table

2018-09-22 13:31:16 UTC

@Fireflash you never take into account how light works

2018-09-22 13:31:18 UTC

if the camera were higher, it would not matter

2018-09-22 13:31:23 UTC

you're not taking into account the table

2018-09-22 13:31:28 UTC

Dude

2018-09-22 13:31:48 UTC

Its a demonstration on a table showing you how light works

2018-09-22 13:32:14 UTC

You can see the bottom of the coin then you cant

2018-09-22 13:32:24 UTC

you should go over the entire video

2018-09-22 13:32:29 UTC

But when you take a picture, the camera isn't in the ground.

2018-09-22 13:32:32 UTC

there are parts of it that are a little off, but overall its valid

2018-09-22 13:32:36 UTC

The camera is above

2018-09-22 13:32:46 UTC

we see in more than 180 degree angle, we have perepheal vision

2018-09-22 13:32:55 UTC

roughly 190 degrees

2018-09-22 13:33:16 UTC

Watch the optics video

2018-09-22 13:33:20 UTC

maybe 184 degrees

2018-09-22 13:33:27 UTC

2018-09-22 13:33:30 UTC

this is the camera with the table

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/484515890759729182/493052314945585153/unknown.png

2018-09-22 13:34:05 UTC

this is the camera held by a human taking a picture

but, ..you're going to get _This_ . .
https://prnt.sc/g1fy4g

2018-09-22 13:40:13 UTC

mhm? and?

after that far 'point' of converge, ..the so-called "object" will (seemingly) go "behind" the false "horizon line" -- created by the human eye, or other visual apparatus etc
.

2018-09-22 13:41:42 UTC

No?

2018-09-22 13:41:47 UTC

I simulated it
