which "line"

2018-09-22 13:23:46 UTC

The line in your model

2018-09-22 13:24:12 UTC

there's many... sorry, I'm not trying to be difficult, I just really don't know which one you want :(

2018-09-22 13:24:28 UTC

The last one

2018-09-22 13:25:33 UTC

If u look.straight down it at a low height
..the line will start becoming unresolvable at some point

2018-09-22 13:25:57 UTC

practical demonstration of that video Citizen linked

2018-09-22 13:26:40 UTC

6:42

2018-09-22 13:27:10 UTC

Ohhhh, I see.... so it's the bluring of the chair there, that obscures the bit of the coin?

2018-09-22 13:27:28 UTC

its on a table

2018-09-22 13:27:32 UTC

oh, whoops

2018-09-22 13:27:35 UTC

close enough

2018-09-22 13:28:05 UTC

your angle is low enough to the ground that the ground is blocking the bottom of the coin

2018-09-22 13:28:14 UTC

your viewing angle

2018-09-22 13:28:15 UTC

2018-09-22 13:28:17 UTC

I understand that now, okay.

2018-09-22 13:28:47 UTC

that's only if the table is in front of the camera though

2018-09-22 13:29:17 UTC

I am just assuming the picture I posted is someone on a beach zooming in

2018-09-22 13:29:23 UTC

I would not say they put the camera on the ground

2018-09-22 13:29:32 UTC

that would definitely mess with the shot

2018-09-22 13:29:49 UTC

Simulating miles and miles of light angles on a table.

2018-09-22 13:30:05 UTC

Thr video.shows coins on the table halfway

2018-09-22 13:30:10 UTC

the table is right in the middle of the frame though

2018-09-22 13:30:15 UTC

angle matters where they are viewing the ship, but eventually given enough water and area, the ship will eventually start to go over the fake horizon because of perspective and optics

2018-09-22 13:30:31 UTC

zoomed out

2018-09-22 13:30:37 UTC

its fake because you can zoom in to re-aquire it

2018-09-22 13:30:40 UTC

zoomed in

2018-09-22 13:30:45 UTC

this is a flat plane here

2018-09-22 13:30:46 UTC

See the coins sitting on table. Right side

2018-09-22 13:31:07 UTC

But with those, the camera is level with the table

2018-09-22 13:31:16 UTC

@Fireflash you never take into account how light works

2018-09-22 13:31:18 UTC

if the camera were higher, it would not matter

2018-09-22 13:31:23 UTC

you're not taking into account the table

2018-09-22 13:31:28 UTC

Dude

2018-09-22 13:31:48 UTC

Its a demonstration on a table showing you how light works

2018-09-22 13:32:14 UTC

You can see the bottom of the coin then you cant

2018-09-22 13:32:24 UTC

you should go over the entire video
