all the computers back then were running win3.11 .. so we made a fake login screen that looked like the real one - but just saved the details on a public drive then threw up a fake blue screen o death and rebooted the PC... one day one of the admins used it 😛

never needed to break into my high school network. the admin figured out the best way to prevent network intrusions was to identify the most 'computer smart' students and give them admin credentials. then if anything happens to the network, it's their fault.

worked like a charm. also meant that we could handle minor tech support crap for other students without having to bother him.
