Can we take a second to think about evolution. What is our main ability to survive? Intelligence right, we have evolved this way. During millions of years, intelligence has grown more and more until we become what we are atm. Thus it proves genetics is related to intelligence. Cuz our far ancestors were not intelligent, millions of years ago, we weren't intelligent.
