Try not to be too harsh. Your very professional and straight forward attitude can come across as condescending. The last thing new guys want is to join and then feel bad for not doing a good job. Many have never done any activism before, so being too hard on them too soon can be a big turn off for them. Criticism is good, but make sure it’s constructive. These men are our brothers, not our employees.

I understand what you are saying, but I don't think I was being harsh. People come to us expecting discipline and seriousness. If the only thing that ever happens to guys is they got coddled they become complacent early. It's good to set expectations early on.

My dad just reported to me that our internet and camera system around the house has someone trying to hack into it on a daily basis.

What makes him think that

Comcast shows him the reports or something

Someone is trying to brute force into our network

What type of information does it show you?

This type of attack is particularly common and happens to almost every network daily. Mostly chinks and pajeets. Not indicative of a targeted political thing.

As an aside, if the FBI wanted to get into your network, they would not do something like that. They would get a warrant.

A fair metric

The sign idea came from when I got charged with putting up stickers. The town is always covered with yard signs. It's perfectly legal. No questions asked. I think we will rain down on them. Our free yard signs will blot out the sun and the entire town will need to buy lots of butthurt cream to deal with it.
