Party B NWX members will all be picked up at the same time in SE PA. One of these activists will be responsible for picking up the two fly ins before going to the meet up spot
Party C will be transporting remaining camp and demo gear. This will likely be the last travel party to arrive at the camp as Jackson PA has to work and won’t be available until later on Friday.
Exact times and locations tbd
Looks good
@ND - Eric PA How is all the planning going for your own transit and that of flyers? Any outreach going Mason NY's way? I'd want him there.
@Thomas I’m about to send the gear list to our network channel, the list you provided is attached to a link that displays the message, is that link ok to be posted, and it won’t redirect to anything else they shouldn’t see?
I’ll reach out to mason NY again, I had asked several times about their attendance but I got nothing definite so I forgot about it
Only to the message, but that message is older than the link when you post it, so best to copy and paste as well.
Mason says he may be unemployed due to the gay science juice injection. I say screw the boss and go to the event, but I'm biased, so.
I’ll do what I can do get them there
Can you send me the list itself in that case? When I try to copy it it only lets me copy the link
I get no permission if I try to go to the message as well
DM'd.
I think some people are starting to abuse the one post limit for stickering
At this next meeting I am gonna have 2 be the new minimum
Additionally, if you go two weeks without hitting your expectations we could have that individual do what he missed in addition to the standard commitment. So if you did 1/3 one week and 2/3 the next week, and you said you are gonna do 2 this week, now you have 5 to do. Thoughts on that?
If people miss their commitment they need to be warned outright. It's more than just stickering. They are failing to follow through on a verbal commitment they made. I think setting higher standards for them as a punishment is good, it will force them out if they cant hang. But just be sure to issue an actual warning if they miss it twice in a row. No slackers.
Right
How would one abuse the one post quota by doing it?
The idea was to start low and gradually increase your weekly posts, or remain constant. With some individuals their counts have actually decreased or gone unfulfilled recently, and I know they are better than that
Maybe abused is not the right word, I am implying undermined potential, conscious or otherwise
Does Jason have a graph of weekly performance vs vommitment?
Obviously we would want to see either well disciplined consistency or some sort of improvement.
Yes he should
Regardless I think the suggestions I provided above are good for people who don’t hit their commitments
Even if stricter discipline results in some fewer posts, it's the word>accountability that makes the value.

Adam PA doing 3 posts this week, has 1 man tent
I will sleep in my truck, keep that in mind in regards to tent capacity.
A true trucker
Truck so much more comfortable than tent
:baby:
Smh you were in a hotel or something for Tennessee
It was like 120 degrees in the tent and we were covered in ticks
Slept on the dirt at the Mt. Elbert hike in CO, at 10k elevation. Slept on the dirt at the Thanksgiving meet in TX with some roaring winds. Going to not sleep, or sleep on the dirt at this one too, homeslice.
We should go glamping instead
Tent with heat and TV
Lol
Jackson bringing 8 man tent
Purely from a leadership perspective, would recommend against that. Reason being is that you need to be with the guys at all times, or at least experiencing the same hardships that they are. Minor things like this, although they may seem mundane, can start to lead to guys resenting you, or not respecting you. Your call, but something that is important to keep in mind.
If you think that is a big concern I’m okay with sleeping in a tent, it’s not actually a big deal for me it was just a bit of banter
That's good to hear. While I don't think it's a big deal, it could become one
So it is up to you
It’s debatable whether or not I’ll sleep at all anyway, didn’t sleep more than 30 mins in Philly
Yeah, I may stay up as well.
I’m gonna bring some sleep meds if I can’t fall asleep
I almost fell asleep at the wheel trying to get guys back to their cars after the march
In Philly
If you pull over and sleep for no less than 15 minutes but no more than 25 minutes you’ll be good to drive for another 2 hours
I learned that on the DMV website and it’s actually true
Hmmmm
@ND - Eric PA When do you want me to DM meet up info to my party?
I’m doing it tomorrow
Chuck is going with Ryan now btw
Gotcha, I'll do it tomorrow as well then
@ND - Eric PA Who is Chuck?
Is Robert going to the event? @ND - Eric PA
Yes he is
Nice.
He was not assigned to a shield team as I was unsure at the time if he should be suspended. He may be assigned now, but I am still considering his suspension after the event
His performance is very poor after several conversations
But we can get to that later
Keeping him off of shields this time.
Discipline is the most important factor of this one
This was my main argument when I was asked
You should be trusted to put up stickers before you can be trusted with a shield
Both of your orders are packed and combined.
:0
Getting them this weekend?
Yes
Wowza!
@Vincent TX @Jason NY let’s find a day this month to have another leadership meeting
Ok, I will be back in PA this weekend. We can go out to eat.
Excellent
Mumble notes: recap demo, note who ordered patches with the recent promat order, sticker stats
@Jason NY let us know when your truck is ready so we can have a meeting. We could even plan it for when you are on your way back up from Maryland
Okay I will, I have no update at this time.
Also let me know if you have any suggestions for how I can get to maryland to pick up the truck. I was thinking maybe a greyhound to DC and then local trains/buses to the dealership.
I wish amtrak wasn't as expensive as it is.
You could bus to DC then ask if a NW9 guy can pick you up
or if you can get to reading/Allentown/Philly I’ll drive you the rest of the way
I'm thinking that may be the move but the only issue is the bus takes so long to get there that I would probably be too tired to drive home
Maybe we can facilitate some sort of relay so that you don't have to drive me all the way from reading to MD?
Like you drive to baltimore and then someone else takes me to Waldorf
