(which would be fine by me) π
>Moving from a private system to a government run system means less government staff
in the US... yes
>trusting our retarded government
because you currently already have a government run system
"Currently already"
its just inefficient
So fire all of them anyway and stop them from running it
Also single payer only systems don't work
we have a shitty middle gorund version of private and government run
yes... currently already... that is correct english in this context...
The government is horribly inefficient when it comes to managing healthcare as a monopoly
Literally the worse deal possible for the situation
Almost any time someone names a system they feel works really well, it's 2 tier
youre probably looking at the worst healthcare system eg canada and thinking, hey thats what government run healthcare look like
You could just masturbate into printer cartridges to save money on toner
π€
Again, every time someone has named a "good" government healthcare system it's been a 2 tier system, not solely single payer
in terms of wait time, efficiency, timeliness of care, speed of recovery.. the UK is number 1 in all of these
Sometimes solo is the way to go
Like fallout
US is 11th
Wait is Terry Davis a pedophile π€π€
>the healthcare system everyone is panicking over
which government are you talking about?
You're in Canada, Beemann? What do you dislike about the system there?
cos many people here have private insurance from the company they work for
not that they use it
I'm talking about the UK government
cos if you use it you have to pay the excess
>Canada healthcare
Time based system?
Just an international perspective. There are many ways to achieve universal health care. The most extreme is the total nationalization of the health service, as seen i Great Britain with the NHS. I think the βbernieβ way to choose the nordic models is a poor fit for the US, we have different way to organize the public sector. My personal opinion, the USA can cheapest and most effective do this by be inspired by the Schweiz model. (I am a native nordic)
Yeah because that's good
People who use healthcare less over a period of time will get cuts if the need the help
And the issue with the system in Canada is that it's underfunded and overburdened
Most hospitals are at or over capacity
@Beemann you have private insurance in the UK... so... youre wrong... π
I dislike the Canadian healthcare system, it is too ineffective
Doesn't stop the government from denying people options
