and make that clear to the people who vote on it

2018-09-08 20:31:05 UTC

there is only one right answer to this

2018-09-08 20:31:06 UTC

its no

2018-09-08 20:31:37 UTC

yeah. sadly the "yes"-camp is hollywood and its cohorts

2018-09-08 20:32:00 UTC

even if the vote swings in favor to repealing the 13th, whoever still says yes should be held accountable for their actions and pestered to the end of time

2018-09-08 20:32:41 UTC

i could have said something about that when it got postponed but that was too early

2018-09-08 20:33:17 UTC

Hey @Timcast do you plan on covering the twitter and facebook hearings that are going on?

2018-09-08 20:33:59 UTC

he kinda has

2018-09-08 20:34:10 UTC

well... it got denied, that was exactly the time to speak up and it worked. sadly they did not go back to the drawing board but instead changed the wording to make it sound less awful while actually being worse than before.

2018-09-08 20:34:20 UTC

He hasn't made any videos I've seen, on twitter I'm guessing?

2018-09-08 20:34:25 UTC

not fully because its not final yet

2018-09-08 20:34:40 UTC

he has made videos on alex jones tho

2018-09-08 20:34:44 UTC

that is somewhat related

2018-09-08 20:34:57 UTC

i think he touched on it in videos about other stuff

2018-09-08 20:35:36 UTC

I read an interesting article from cnet on it.

2018-09-08 20:35:38 UTC

``` sadly they did not go back to the drawing board but instead changed the wording to make it sound less awful while actually being worse than before.
```
thats not surprising of them to do

2018-09-08 20:35:44 UTC

they really want it that badly then

2018-09-08 20:35:57 UTC

>cnet

2018-09-08 20:36:01 UTC

i dont trust them

2018-09-08 20:36:24 UTC

actually they were the first news source that i started boycotting

2018-09-08 20:36:41 UTC

Okay.

2018-09-08 20:38:53 UTC

Well the article is still interesting.

2018-09-08 20:39:02 UTC

I didn't find an archive for it.

2018-09-08 20:40:05 UTC

Basically the SCOTUS hearing has over powered this hearing.

2018-09-08 20:40:13 UTC

the driving force behind article 11 (the link-tax) is Axel Springer Publishing. If they are involved you can bet your behind that Germany will vote yes on that one and do whatever it takes to make it happen. Including pushing through Article 13 so that Article 11 gets lost in the outrage over that one.

2018-09-08 20:40:26 UTC

Which I think is fairly accurate.

2018-09-08 20:40:44 UTC

i can see why they are doing both at once

2018-09-08 20:40:52 UTC

EU stuff?

2018-09-08 20:40:53 UTC

article 13 seems to be worse than 11

2018-09-08 20:41:00 UTC

it is worse

2018-09-08 20:41:00 UTC

but both equally bad

2018-09-08 20:41:48 UTC

so what's happening now

2018-09-08 20:42:08 UTC

article 11 is already law in germany and completely failed in doing anything other then increasing the salary of lawyers and hurting private citizens.

2018-09-08 20:43:50 UTC

now they want to push it to European level to try again with a larger hammer

2018-09-08 20:44:04 UTC

That is what socialism does. *Shrugs.*

2018-09-08 20:44:20 UTC

Unless the people do something about it, they are stuck with the elite.

2018-09-08 20:44:56 UTC

The EU creation was a terrible idea. Corruption is attracted to centralized power.

2018-09-08 20:46:40 UTC

the eu itself was a good idea and has accomplished the intended goal, the problem is that the implementation is completely f'ed.

2018-09-08 20:46:51 UTC

I don't know how many people who lead EU, but people in those position rarely will ever give up their power without a fight.

2018-09-08 20:47:06 UTC

Why would they? They are ruling over many nations instead of a single nation.
