Are there any audiobooks that don’t sound stupid

I wouldn’t mind like a narrator and some voice actors

There are audiobooks which are made to be like audio action movie

But i dislike those

david attenborough reads GoT

The best audio books are the ones done of public domain books by some guy with a 5 dollar mic and a strong Indian accent

I like just plain 1 or 2 readers

There are some great readers imo

I read too

But audiobooks are good when you want to do something while listening

For example i really enjoy shopping while listening to them

still not the same

its more akin to me watching the show

Probably depends how much you get used to things

One thing is for sure if you read instead of listen you improve your written grammar better

if you are just listenting to someone else read things to you, thats just the same as watching a show, just someone else giving you the story rather than reading the story and letting your mind absorb it first hand

im not putting down any of it

just calling it like i see it

Well in any case as i stated at the start

i can go back and wiki the parts of the story that the tv show left out lol

Well its not just that

and i do, i do agree the books go way deeper

but it would be too much for tv in a lot of cases

The show went much more into sex for example

While the books didnt delve that deep there

ya but the books had some pretty risky stories as they were in the books

they had to swap some items of those stories around for tv

like dany being much younger in the books

im ok with that, from a tv stand point it made sense to me

most of the changes
