common themes from Tomas Kalnoky (singer and lead songwriter) vary from God, death, change, life, finding some meaning

Lots of anger but he's got one really happy one in the third major album about someone growing up, realizing they have to leave home to find themselves, and raising their kids in a way where they won't feel restricted like the narrator was

So it's not *all* downer tracks

Their top song on spotify is a plea for an alternative to suicide, even.

Ska's good like that.
