no shit. i've had to get of trains in NOLA becaue the goddamn bus drivers didn't want to go any further
That's fucked up. What a history it has too. In spite of the dindus everywhere it had a certain charm about it
yea, architecturally its the most beautiful city in the US
and i love the food and culture
I like it here in backwoods middle-of-nowhereville, Michigan
but I dont want to have to explain Double Macchiato with cream 6 times for laquefa to get my fucking order right. hurry up bitch i have to each in like 15 minutes, fucking brew bitch
That must be painful, really. Explaining coffee to a NOLA dindu.
i was embarassed for her
but that didn't stop me from talking to the manager and getting it comp'd 😄
oh and congrats Mother, i just made you a centurio for your good work for the movement
Lol noice thanks.
np, you have earned it
You have it good in Austin. I'll mostly be in San Antonio starting this Summer but still have friends in the area.
I found myself missing HEB when I moved back to NYC.
you didnt love the 4 hour check out lanes at Trader Joes?
I went to San Antonio and is was HOT!!!
Oh man I never shopped at Trader Joe's there.
Yeah it's hot in Austin too.
yea that applies to liek 99% of texas from march until november
This was at that river place.
tourist... only go to the riverwalk when it's dark
THE BAT BRIDGE
My girlfrend of the time was obsessed in seeing that.
Yes... daytime was hot as expected...but it was like 90 some degrees at night.
yea congress st bridge is called bat bridge
I was there for work convention.
Like, I just bought land in the Big Bend and it's the hottest part of Texas
Well it was humid as hell as well.
And I was eating hot food and drinking.
So that probably didn't help.
did you get it for forty aceres and a mule?
LOL
Texas is the opposite of Michigan
Our winter is like six months
our "winter" is like 3 weeks
like they say the four seasons of texas are "almos summer, summer, still summer and christmas"
Naw, I don't need forty acres down there. In 2-3 years I want to live full time in Tennessee with my woman. Buying 50-100 acres in the sticks and building our house.
I'm already starting it in CAD.
oh nice, that sounds like fun, and building your own home is a great idea. better than buying a pre-owned house imo
i live in a shitty (well it's okay i guess) 2 bedroom apt wth my new GF. she just moved in 😄
