Hes gonna repeal roe vs wade they made him an enemy
Probably won't
I hope he weaponizes the tenth amendment
Come to think of it, there is probably a reason Justice Thomas is so clearly on the right.
Kavanaugh was chosen specifically because he was just about as moderate as you could get.
It was highly unlikely he'd just overturn Roe.
If you start with a moderate
Which is why they picked him, Murkowski and Collins weren't going to vote for someone who is clearly pro-life
Expose them to the machine
I wouldn't be surprised if he goes hard right after all this is over.
Or he could be too scared to act.
It's hard to say.
It depends what kind of person he is.
He's got everything to loose if he doesn't.
A big problem with people on the right is a tendency to be easily frightened.
The pissed off man that walked down to give a speech is not one I'd expect to pull punches.
If he gets really angry and goes hard right, I wouldn't blame him.
Fair point.
Tim is wearing red and black confirmed antifa member
He didn't pull any in the speech.
One of the pundits put it eloquently
He did not want to have to be in a position to destroy Ford.
Timtifa
Such a blessed age.
Can you even count them all?
Manchin is the only Dem voting to confirm Kavanaugh so far?
I heard there's a couple others.
They won't vote for Kavanaugh if there is a chance he could get denied.
But they'll go along if he's going to pass.
Maybe they can cancel out Collins and Murkowski and Flake.
Because they're in Red states and trying not to look like an enemy of Trump.
I severely doubt any dems will break ranks.
They won't cancel Collins Murkoski or Flake.
The Dem Party would eviscerate their funding.
And that would only be the start.
Voting against Kavanaugh has to be worth at least 10% in the polls for these Dems up for re-election in red states.
The Dems have a great deal of control of their legislators due to the way the party is structured.
Yeah, but you lose the base *and* your money and you're in even more trouble.
The Dems might let it fly if they realize they've otherwise lost though.
So you're saying they'd basically have to switch parties if they vote for Kavanaugh.
