i mean, if its supposed to be a warrior, i don't really care about that fact but thats just me.
female armor in fantasy annoyed me slightly with that
They could've made them look like Pam Grier and Halle Berry, but instead they made them look like warty troglodyte horsefuckers.
Because muh soshul justus
Valkyrie looks fine to me
hey, beauty is the first thing to go when you hit in the head too many times
I disagree
is tessa thompson not pretty enough for these people though
she looked great
oh, you like the look of broken noses?
lmao
it gives character
99% of battered women look better than these heaps of hot garbage.
i liked her in Ragnarok, had no major problems
I liked her too. I also somehow got through thor 3 without realizing she was supposed to be Valkyrie
Ragnarok was a very weak film
Nice bum.
80's isn't for everyone
Maybe you don't have to make them look like Diana Ross, but maybe make them look like Lauryn Hill
not enough breast or the armor design?
Just the general armor design. Too scifi, too much detail, and also her hair
I'm just confused why they wouldn't hire a nordic actress
Why would a slavic god be black?
@Abel because Nords are white, and being born white is literally immoral.
I can understand how the leotard look probably wouldn't look too good on film, and the breast armor is a bit much, but they could've done something that didn't look more like a pilot jumpsuit
think if they had gone with short sleeves it wouldn't be as far off.
(let alone allowing people to see white actors that they... _like!_)
and more of a skirt like wonder woman style maybe.
But really I consider the twin tails with a tie or braids to be basically mandatory.
Liking any white person, other than HIllary Clinton, is _immoral_.
You saw what the MCU did to Heimdall, right?
the braids or ties would be nice, i agree.
I'm pretty sure heimdall is described as being dark skinned in the original myths
It's funny because Heimdall is explicitly in norse mythology described as "the whitest of the gods"
adds to the Norse feel
I remember a norse mythology analysis book I read a few years back
