hmmmm where have all the people gone.
@MrGoat Busy, we haven't been advertising on Gab lately or have been active at all.
Been busy myself.
Leaders of these chats have a duty to keep your communities alive or they die.
I've seen it many times.
Yep, I'll have my talk with the top brass, but again, busy, I'll have a bit of free time today.
Nice.
Man the harpoons!
I know that Heimat and I have both been pretty busy lately. maybe when his work and my teaching slow down a bit we can have more going on
You ever watch Murdoch Murdoch?
Thenewest one is out
yea i love Murdoch Murdoch
Yeaaaa
i will watch that after I get done with this shit i'm working on right now
@Mother true enough. I noticed the slowdown after I became less active. But I don't think it's only that. After all, my participation was mostly organizaional (setting up and promoting the hangouts).
I think as the Trump campaign is over, we are moving away from shitposting, and more toward building something lasting.
It's a shame I couldn't attend the last hangout, as I was really curious to hear what your views on near/mid/long term goals of the alt-right are
This is as good a spot as any to build something lasting.
My view is that we need to carve out a space we can own. My suggestion here would be "deep culture" - education and ideology building. Hence the projects @Jossi and I are working on - the nationalist reading club and the other thing (not sure if we announced it already, so I'll keep it quiet for now)
We should continue that talk and make it a part of the book reading with @Jossi
That I'm reading today, coincidentally.
im wondering how many people read imagined communities and how many people will read (or have read) Master and Margarita
I'm reading it now Aventeer. I'm on "Book 1"
i was a lit nerd from a very young age, but didn't hear about M&M until grad school
So essentially the story is divided into two pieces.
Because the Soviets tried destroying his work.
cool. well i'm thinking of doing two book hangouts per month, on on the 15th and one on the 30th (or close to it)
yea, the backstory on the book is fascinating
he had to destroy it or go to the gulag
then he reproduced it, but it wasn't published until about 1976 due to political reasons
he had already died, but his wife got it and another book of his called Heart of a Dog published
@HeimatFreiheitTradition we can probably announce the other thing right now. i don't know what we are waiting for really, but if youi want to hold off on announcing it for some reason that's cool with me
ah, I just wanted to check with you
Vhat is that?
no constraints from my side
We're setting up an online course that @Jossi is going to teach.
If you're STEM, it will be the missing part of your education.
A reconnection to roots and tribal history.
A cultural grounding.
