But, then again, he kinda shouldnt be posting it.

2018-10-09 12:41:39 UTC

He = tim pool?

2018-10-09 12:42:22 UTC

I was just thinking it could be an insight into the censorship on some of those subreddits he comes into contact with. I think it would have informed his story had he had this tool at the time

2018-10-09 12:43:32 UTC

I can just post the tool sans any link to any specific reddit thread, right?

2018-10-09 12:44:09 UTC

It's fascinating to see the stuff that gets scrubbed from major news subreddits as well. I bet thedonald is a graveyard

2018-10-09 12:44:52 UTC

I mean, they posted something about tim being "banned" from future anarchist meetups

2018-10-09 12:46:22 UTC

damn i wanna post this but i don't wanna get in trouble so i'll just keep it super vague

2018-10-09 12:46:37 UTC

take any reddit thread, replace reddit with ceddit in the url

2018-10-09 12:46:47 UTC

it'll load the page, and find all of the comments that are deleted

2018-10-09 12:46:51 UTC

and tell you why

2018-10-09 12:47:00 UTC

Screenshots are fine right?

2018-10-09 12:47:05 UTC

Lemme check the rules again

2018-10-09 12:52:25 UTC

I read the rules, but didn't see anything in regards to messaging Tim Pool directly. Maybe I'll try that. I think it could be a useful tool in his reporting under specific circumstances

2018-10-09 12:52:29 UTC

Sorry watching this interesting "documentary" serries

2018-10-09 12:52:48 UTC

2018-10-09 13:39:14 UTC

Ya know, I've always hated ANTIFA. But watching Tim's ANTIFA video from yesterday, it solidified my contempt for them.

According to a NewsWhip Study

The Top Pages on Facebook for political content

Conservatives primarily engage with Fox news on Facebook

Democrats primarily engage with Occupy Democrats.

Among content engagements the numbers are substantially higher for the right

Daily Wire content has 132,512,828 engagements on Facebook

TheRoot content has 25,826,019 on Facebook

These are both the top content producers on Facebook by left and right categories.

You can see that conservatives consume substantially more news content than the left.

"There are significantly more producers of right-wing content
than there are of left-wing content. Only 88 publishers are identified in our leftwing category compared to 357 publishers for the right."

"Indeed, the top five for the right-wing significantly outperformed even the leaders in the left-wing category, the top of whom was The Root with nearly 26 million engagements for the year, still fewer than The Daily Caller, which was fifth place for the right-wing publishers."

This is also true for Youtube.

According to a Source at Youtube

News and Politics on youtube is dominated by conservative content

There are many left wing producers but their content gets substantially less engagement.

2018-10-09 13:44:44 UTC

There are two main hypotheses as to why this engagement gap exists. (there are more but these tend to be the ones focused on)

People associated with the left generally do not search for or share news. They either don't consume news, get news from their friends and word of mouth, or just watch mainstream channels.

People associated with the right have few outlets for conservative content other than Fox news so they go online and search for news and share news.

However the latter doesnt explain how FoxNews is the number one rated cable channel. This would lead us to the conclusion that people associated with the right are significantly more engaged in politics and news than the left.

Not only is Fox News the highest rated channel, by some past reports the ratings for Fox News are more than CNN and MSNBC combined.

Combine this with FoxNews has the highest engaged conservative page, the 2nd highest engaged cable channel producer, and it seems that we could conclude conservatives are substantially more engaged with news and politics than the left.

EDIT:

According to Nielsen Live +7-day data, in 2017 CNN’s median age was 60, while the median age of the

To be honest, it was highly effective for some time

2018-10-09 13:45:25 UTC

Wait a second...

2018-10-09 13:45:58 UTC

Wasnt there literally a vid talking about this gap between the size of "conservative" vs "liberal" alternative news something?

2018-10-09 13:46:06 UTC

I swore I watched something about it this morning

2018-10-09 13:46:10 UTC

the left tals about the right sharing most fake newsw

2018-10-09 13:46:12 UTC

however

2018-10-09 13:46:23 UTC

the engagements for actual fake news ate 16M for the highest and 132M for daily wire

Politically incorrect memes are the best kinds of memes. Change my mind.
