yeah it's an echo chamber, but you've just got to take their bias into consideration
hey, does anyone have a link to that anarchism thread that tim pool got screwed in?
I wanted to give a link to Pool, there's a website that caches reddit comments and tells you if it's deleted by moderator
thought it might be useful for him when reporting future topics
I was just thinking it could be an insight into the censorship on some of those subreddits he comes into contact with. I think it would have informed his story had he had this tool at the time
I can just post the tool sans any link to any specific reddit thread, right?
It's fascinating to see the stuff that gets scrubbed from major news subreddits as well. I bet thedonald is a graveyard
damn i wanna post this but i don't wanna get in trouble so i'll just keep it super vague
take any reddit thread, replace reddit with ceddit in the url
it'll load the page, and find all of the comments that are deleted
I read the rules, but didn't see anything in regards to messaging Tim Pool directly. Maybe I'll try that. I think it could be a useful tool in his reporting under specific circumstances
Thanks for giving me the heads up Ginga, i'd hate to get a warning so quickly given i just joined the server
Seriously give it a watch. They carried out the largest bio terrorist attack in US history
oh if that's the case check out Internet Historian as well
Trump admin people resign every other day it feels like
the difference is that democrats, some of them, embrace antifa
Which is a strange swing, I feel like the left used to be on the big tent side of things
I think he used to be centre left, when he was younger.
well he talked about how he used to do political work for leftist parties when he was younger
i actually don't know where he stands on welfare state
If your info goes thru the states, they probably collect it
if they were only spying on usa citizens then there'd be no point
they got into big diplomatic shit for spying on heads of foreign states using the same tools
Now instead of the NSA collecting the data, they just require phone/ISPs to do it
btw they're not required to keep the metadata forever
hahahaha, it stands for "Uniting and Strengthening America by Fulfilling Rights and Ending Eavesdropping, Dragnet-collection and Online Monitoring Act."
@Deleted User it looks like the us government actually subsidizes the storage
"Companies are provided monetary incentive to spy and share that information with the government and blanket liability once they do under USA Freedom โ even if that breaks that law," said Sascha Meinrath, the director of X-lab, an independent tech policy institute previously associated with New America. "Once companies receive that, they'll have almost no reason to weigh in on meaningful surveillance reform."[102]
