He speaks he native language fluently
the*
But, he came here illegally, hes legal now this was years ago
mhmm
Now what i find disturbing
or what i often put out rather
How do you expect immigrants to function in our society
when u dont even expect them to speak the language
What is the most important thing to function in different society
be able to communicate
aye
My friend learned it the hard way
that's why most immigrants tend to stick to areas where they have a similar or same language, I suppose
So when i hear "the left" sitting there talking about how demanding immigrants to learn the native language or at least one, is somehow a bad thing
lolwut
Well that is effectively what happened
"das raycis"
on the long term that is
I mean, sure, you might struggle with speaking the language, or not fluent at all
like my friends did when they got a scholarship to germany
and tbh, it's for the betterment of themselves to communicate
these days that is called racist yes inquisition
Do u know what is on EVERY job application here
since we've yet to invent the universal translator device
no matter how basic your job is?
or a babel fish
"We are an equal opportunity employer."?
german or french language capacity?
dutch
oh right
just basic understanding for the most basic jobs
its on all of them
I thought of swiss' requirement
whoops
The way i see this, is that they are handicapping these people from the getgo by not giving them even the most basic tool to function in this country
but clearly many people disagree with me on that
Ofc you have to be abel to communicate if you want to work.
you do and thats how my friend learned it the hard way
basically how i learned english
by annoying the shit out of english speaking people by constantly asking what words meant
