Climate Change real, but I don’t blame people for disbelieving. The people pushing it when I was a kid made a lot of bull shit predictions that never happened based on weak models to sow fear.

2018-10-14 13:58:20 UTC

we gotta fuck em up

2018-10-14 13:58:35 UTC

broaden the defninition of retarded

2018-10-14 13:59:01 UTC

Tim, I used to debate creation vs evolution all the time in the 90s and I'm still struck by how much more open and accessible the actual scientific claims of evolutionary biology are than the actual scientific claims of climatology/climate change.

Man... I remember the fear mongering from the early 00s that some vaccines are given by the US to cause infertility amongst the populace

2018-10-14 13:59:11 UTC

dude

2018-10-14 13:59:17 UTC

I doubt disbelieve climate change.
I just am suspect of the motives for control that some wish to use it to justify

2018-10-14 13:59:23 UTC

Amber Lyon used to go around telling people I worked for the government

2018-10-14 13:59:28 UTC

I remember seeing a video about CC in elementary school that said that the world would be a flooded sun blasted death world by now

2018-10-14 13:59:44 UTC

I've seen a lot of weird conspiracy shit when i was young.

2018-10-14 13:59:51 UTC

Love that movie

2018-10-14 13:59:51 UTC

***We didn't listen!***

2018-10-14 13:59:54 UTC

This '97% consensus' talking point is pure obfuscation of the actual scientific evidence for and against CC.

2018-10-14 13:59:55 UTC

it's a shitshow but I love it

2018-10-14 14:00:04 UTC

cite your sources devpav

2018-10-14 14:00:08 UTC

@Timcast hahaha. Yeah, you seem like the gov type.

Not

2018-10-14 14:00:09 UTC

The hyperbole about climate change is the problem.

2018-10-14 14:00:13 UTC

consensus on what is the question

2018-10-14 14:00:15 UTC

stop using "climate change" when talking about "man made climate change."

2018-10-14 14:00:21 UTC

Yeah. That movie didn’t help CC at all. It made it look like a joke

2018-10-14 14:00:23 UTC

Fair enough.

2018-10-14 14:00:25 UTC

The alarmism does discredit it, yes.

2018-10-14 14:00:33 UTC

But that movie wasn't about climate change @Exiled Sentinel

2018-10-14 14:00:39 UTC

it was about photons heating the earth's core and shit

2018-10-14 14:00:47 UTC

the climate change one was The Day after Tomorrow

2018-10-14 14:00:51 UTC

get your emmerich right

2018-10-14 14:00:52 UTC

jesus

2018-10-14 14:00:54 UTC

And that the world is ending now

2018-10-14 14:00:56 UTC

Stop using 'climate change' when the theory rests upon AGW.

2018-10-14 14:01:03 UTC

Right. I thought it was that one @King Canuck

2018-10-14 14:01:17 UTC

The day after tomorrow was weird tho...

2018-10-14 14:01:19 UTC

TDAT stands as one of my favourite movies

2018-10-14 14:01:23 UTC

I love cheesy disaster flicks

2018-10-14 14:01:32 UTC

nobody is denying climate is changing.
its human cause part that debate is over.

2018-10-14 14:01:38 UTC

TDAT, 2012, Pacific Rim, some of my favourite non-hero flicks right there

2018-10-14 14:02:25 UTC

Pacific Rim is MUCH better than those other two imo

2018-10-14 14:02:29 UTC

I agree

2018-10-14 14:02:35 UTC

Pacific rim, you mean that movie that promotes killing oneself to kill aliens?

2018-10-14 14:02:37 UTC

but I love watching cities get flattened by disasters
