I got some level 3 steel plates and im comfy with them. Shot the side plate from the set with several rounds including 308 and green tip and she is still standing the test of time

Ive owned several. Zastava pap m90np is a 556 ak that takes ar mags. It was an awesome rifle and i never should have sold it

@MetalViking it looks like the lugs were trued also, I just wish it had a 26-28 in tube, it’s only a threaded 24in 300 win mag so I’ll look 150fps on my heavy loads- I guess it’ll fit more of a truck bolt gun app.

Or practice and train with it until you can compensate the negatives to where they don't matter with minor modifications to better handler performance

@MetalViking I plan on using it at our head hunter even so the shorter tube will help some, I’m mainly hoping the slightly heavier pill will help with out 1 mile+ bonus shots. They do T-square targets at unknown ranges from 50-400 yards and then 10-15in plates from 600-1200 and then the 36x24 man silhouette target is at 1760-1920(randomly chosen and are worth 4 times the points but you only get 2 sighter and 4 point shots. The 50-1200 is timed and you have to move to different positions that’s are flagged on our ridge. If you move with a closed bolt your DQ’ed you loose points if you miss on sight in shots at the shot and mid ranges (50-350 short-400-600 med) and if you miss shots at 600 your not allowed to run the 2nd half. It’s one of the coolest long range events in my state.
