So I did the maths
123 to play with now which is good.
Some of it can't go into guns
From what I hear Nemo is a high end company, but then SoLGW is definitely top tier.
So my brother wants to split the cost of a jig and router and have me do some 80%s
Sounds like a plan
So I might be looking into a build shortly
Go with 5D
5D jig?
Very simple jig to use from all the videos I've been watching
It's pricey tho
How pricey
The pro jig, with endmill for the router I'm buying, $280
Ouch
🧐
Yep ouch. But watch the videos for it before you're put off by it
But it comes with the bit
So...I'm gonna start looking at optics that are low price.....any ideals where I should start? Not necessarily for this paycheck but maybe the next.
Def want a good quality bit
I had to add the readymill bit to the purchase
The readymill is said to last 30-50 lowers before needing the bit piece replaced. Of course that's if you're babying the bit
Yeah I would baby the shit out of it
Then it'll last awhile. The readymill set is only $45
And can get replacement part for the bit
I’ll look into it
But if you go with that pro jig, make sure you specify which router you're using, that way they can size it correctly
This is the one I went with, and later you can buy the 308 conversion kit, to do ar-10
But with any jig, it's gonna be backordered
Typical
I wanna make a sterling SMG
With the conversion to semi of course*
Uhuhhh
Supposedly
@O/K/ie Voluntaryist Sig Romero 5 is the only blodget optic I'd trust my life to.
Romeo 5 is good. Got the green dot model, only problem was one range day in the snow, took awhile for the optic to warm up and turn on. Other than that one time it's been great
I'll check it out.
I lucked out then on my Romero lol
I got it since I was on budget and had really good reviews.
I'm running budget hardcore
