There for eliminating any racial slurs.
Words change meanings all the time.
Why not do it to racial slurs.
The US constitution was based off of the Iroquois constitution
I just don’t like how it’s anti fun
They'll just pick new ones
Does that count
What would racist call people they hate then? If the racial slurs start to mean something positive.
oh you can’t wear this or that for halloween cuz it’s cultural appropriation
All those words developed organically
Eh, I don't understand why we give certain insults the designation of "slurs." That's just giving words power over us as we deem them completely unacceptable
Eliminate Racism by taking away their voices.
They will continue to do so
I actually did that with one group of humans in a story I worked on since I was tiny
I couldn’t explain what each word became for the story because those words still carry weight
It would be much harder for them to speak from a platform if the words they use as racial slurs is changed into something positive.
They would in the end, be complimenting the race they hate.
XD
eliminate racism by stop making everything about race
No, they'd just form or choose different words
Racial slurs may be bad
But
Moist
Keep co-opting their racial slurs.
another thing is
Is a word that everyone hates
Like, in the time it takes for your ploy to work, they'll just move on
We can all agree
They would be helping us expand our dictionary.
We could name experiences that has no name.
That is beyond human language.
XD
It's kind of like how "black" is more offensive than "African American" is especially sensitive circles
it’s hard to see people as individuals instead of associating them with various cohorts
Did you know the N word means black in Latin.
It's reversing now as people are starting to realize "African American" makes no sense
Somewhere along the line, it was co-opt as a racial slur.
cuz you are in a way representing the groups you associate with
"Negro" was a neutral term in the mid 20th-century, IIRC
