repealing dodgy authoritarian laws, reinstating proper legal aid so that being merely accused of something doesn't bankrupt you, sorting out the drugs issues, and a set of green policies that don't grotesquely disadvantage the working poor, the elderly, and rural dwellers

where the do you want to start?

he would be wise to get on and create a fund to relocate people whose communities are being abandoned to the sea, and some form of part-fund part-loan scheme for flood victims

decriminalise drug posession and legalise/regulate/tax pot - use the funds to go towards drug treatment, homeless, and mental facilities. it'll also save the police and justice systems hundreds of millions
