Just reading the strange death of Europe makes me depressed so I can’t read it for too long

2020-03-12 17:50:57 UTC

It’s factual but fuck

2020-03-12 17:51:23 UTC

A tough read indeed

2020-03-12 17:52:43 UTC

I would like people such as Douglas Murray... maybe throw in David Starkey as well... to be part of an advisory committee to the government.

2020-03-12 17:53:48 UTC

I read he won’t become an mp which is ass

2020-03-12 17:53:53 UTC

"Every key management group in the BBC will have two additional members as diversity advisors by the end of March "

2020-03-12 17:54:02 UTC

I know he writes for the spectator

2020-03-12 17:54:25 UTC

He's head of the Henry Jackson Society as well

Associate Director from 2011-2018

I’m surprised he hasn’t been done for hate crime yet

2020-03-12 17:55:56 UTC

He's gay. Would be homophobic to accuse him of hate crime. <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>

Coronavirus: May elections 'should be postponed to autumn' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-51861140

2020-03-12 17:58:13 UTC

I never bother with local elections tbh

2020-03-12 17:58:19 UTC

Should buy labour some time

2020-03-12 17:58:31 UTC

Who carea

2020-03-12 17:58:35 UTC

Cares

2020-03-12 17:58:46 UTC

Honestly I see them as important still, where I live council is going to bankrupt themselves

2020-03-12 17:59:12 UTC

Gotta love labour councillors

2020-03-12 17:59:21 UTC

I'm from Swindon. Whenever given money, Swindon Borough Council blows it up their arse.

2020-03-12 18:00:01 UTC

well the govt response to the virus is unimpressive

2020-03-12 18:00:01 UTC

I see this as another way to kick them out of government as well

2020-03-12 18:01:57 UTC

what's pissing me off is some people still think its a nothing burger

2020-03-12 18:02:08 UTC

Depends on the time. Pre-referendum, it was effective to put UKIP in council seats... placing pressure on the Tories to give us the referendum in the first place.

2020-03-12 18:03:13 UTC

Honestly I think people underestimate how much pressure council elections can be, thats when I finally am allowed to vote I am voting in anything I can

2020-03-12 18:03:24 UTC

I can't complain if I didn't vote is how I see it

2020-03-12 18:03:35 UTC

you should bother with local elections, they're usually used as informative data for generals

2020-03-12 18:03:44 UTC

theres no point voting in the council elections here, they're all tree hugging car hating leftists, even the tories

2020-03-12 18:03:57 UTC

My lucky day tomorrow

2020-03-12 18:04:02 UTC

Who said I was voting Conservative?

2020-03-12 18:04:03 UTC

Friday 13th

2020-03-12 18:04:03 UTC

they don't have any power anyway since westminster has it all

2020-03-12 18:04:07 UTC

literally just a token gesture

2020-03-12 18:04:24 UTC

Still I don't wanna put money in Labour pocket

2020-03-12 18:05:00 UTC

I am just curious if the Brexit Party will change there name during it or after it

2020-03-12 18:05:58 UTC

Redistribution of civil servants will help decentralise Westminster. Furthering to strengthen the Union.

2020-03-12 18:12:00 UTC

yes

2020-03-12 18:12:04 UTC

...

2020-03-12 18:12:14 UTC
