just don't let em back in
Yea I don't get this whole TP hoarding mentality and acting like animals. One would think food would be more critical, not TP. This is sheer idiocy
TP hoarding is based
I heard someone say "ah, but what if i'm quarantined for 4 weeks?"
it not a case of letting 80% getting infected.... they will get infected ... theres nothing they can do about that... its about controlling when the bulk of the infections arise and getting it synced with the NHS
the tp thing is sheer collective autism
Dude, how the fuck much toilet paper do you use?
it's not collective autism, it's collective low iq
it's the 50% of the population that has sub 100 iq
@wacka i don't see 80% of even wuhan infected so why would anywhere else get that much?
china has a pretty extreme quarantine
i dont think we'll do that here
Based China
not to mention 80% was a worse case reasonable scenario figure
because we havent seen the fallout of china yet
They welded ppl into their apartments lol
once their quarantine ends it will come back en masse
> They welded ppl into their apartments lol
That was the public doing that
@Puggums even italy would probably be enough if implemented before a huge wave of cases.
the infection is expected to come back into china
"Let me tell you something about Hew-mons, Nephew. They're a wonderful, friendly people, as long as their bellies are full and their holosuites are working. But take away their creature comforts, deprive them of food, sleep, sonic showers, put their lives in jeopardy over an extended period of time and those same friendly, intelligent, wonderful people... will become as nasty and as violent as the most bloodthirsty Klingon. You don't believe me? Look at those faces. Look in their eyes."
I mean italy would be enough with the huge wave but loads more people would be infected.
theyre trying to flatten the curve so you dont end up with this big spike https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ETE682OWkAEchCy.jpg
this is a completely different scenario to the spanish flu.
yes, this is far worse than spanish flu because muhhglobalism
you still have the nhs trying to deal with 70m people .. you want them dealing with it over a year.. not all in one month when a quarantine ends
I mean for a start that's why just closing borders for a year would be a good idea @Eccles
you must have seen bucket guy
@wacka do you have an independent thought in your head or do you wholly take on the governments position on everything
Also far worse if we look at the context of CFR. RN from WHO the estimated CFR is 3.4%. This is w/current modern day medical technology ranging from ventilators to ECMOs to advance retroviral medication. Spanish flu was 1-2% WITHOUT any of these.
its not the governments position.. its the top virology scientists
If we we're going to use 1918 medical tech, the CFR would be substantially higher
@TheGhostAgent that's 3.4% if you don't take into account that there are probably a crap ton of people who are infected that have very mild symptoms and never get tested.
Yes, the top virology scientists want to flatten out the peaks
You don't flatten out the peaks by doing nothing
It's why south korea's death rate is so much lower.
lol what?
Why did the british institute of immunologists write to disagree with such a policy?
And those who just died at home, never diagnosed as we've seen in China. The numbers can swing either way
They're not even screening people at the airports, ffs
