Ayy, I was just listening to the police scanner and they have somebody with possible coronavirus symptoms they were sending an ambulance for.

Just returned from a trip to Salt Lake City and the husband just got back from Baghdad...

Most people will end up getting this and health workers know that. The game now is to slow this down so that it doesn't all happen at once.

Hospitals are able to treat surges in trauma patients but none of them have the equipment they need to deal with extra respiratory ICU cases.

Did you read this? Italy is already having to triage and only treat cases that are most likely to survive. Old people or ones with complications are probably fucked:

N95 with valve is reasonably comfortable, unvalved gets annoying fast and isn't very compatible with cool weather and glasses.

I actually find a full face mask more comfortable than a half for extended wear.

I got them from work 🙂 made half the job easier. Just had to pickup more ore filters myself. P3 ooOoo

It is supposed to be a bit wider on the lens than the 6800 I think. I can barely see any of the mask at all while wearing it.

I'm not sure they are implementing it yet but from what I'm hearing the healthcare system is completely overwhelmed so going forward they might/probably will have to start making these choices on if they let the old and infirm die with minimal treatment to save the ones with likely better outcomes.
