Ethnicity isn't cultural, its a sub group within a race

Africa is very very diverse genetically
It frequently is as there is no actual genetic difference
And there are different racial groups within the jewish demographic that are fairly separate from each other genetically, which is also kind of funny

I mean not really, first the Ashkenazi are not really disproportionately at the top and the society defines jew by religion rather than race, and then other people are allowed in the society not of that race, and can become government leaders etc. There is not explicit rule that excludes anyone else and only allows for certain people in the government

Even the Ashkenazi jews are quite similiar to the Palestinians, meaning genetically there is very little difference on than a higher prevalence of a single particular marker.
That's because all jews are originally Semites from the Levant, the Ashkenazi have more European genetics than the others
There is only one marker that seperates the Ashkenazi from the sephardic jews and palestinians, and it's only present in 32% of palestinians
So basically, the difference is extremely small, there's not a dramatic difference as many people think
And it's not like all local palestinian people have this marker either

Well, ironically, Europeans also have ancestry to the middle east. The term "Caucasian" means of the caucus, which is essentially the middle east. Tons of middle eastern people are white, as white Europeans originated from the middle east. The very first Europeans were indo-Iranian people, and thus Europeans have a very small separation from middle eastern people
