he's a total badass
WHAT ***IS THAT***
I feel like resurrecting characters that had a meaningful and memorable death is going to be the new stupid cliche that every movie studio feels obligated to try
just pretend the greivous from the animated clone wars movie is the only real cannon for him
TROS does it like...5 times
inb4 they resurrect Luke because nobody likes Rey
Peter Parker after years of steroid abuse
Game of Thrones, for all it’s faults, understood the importance of a characters death being unexpected and final.
Anyone else here read Star Wars Legacy?
lol the early seasons anyway
bring grievous back and have him kill all the characters disney made
make disney commit sepuku and revert the cannon to pre EU-nuke
Look at Westworld / Star Wars for example - when you keep resurrecting characters, the audience stops caring about their deaths.
And even then a lot of TCW needs to be shaved
A lot of it dosen't fit into the EU
reincarnation is second only to writer transparency in terms of storytelling asscancer
The only thing worse is a McGuffin or Deus Ex Machina. Both are shit plot devices that spoil a story.
I want a Movie series about Jaina and Jacen Solo
McGuffins and Deus Ex have their places
Just dont be retarded
I want some McDonalds
That's the modus operandi of story telling
id consider deus ex outside of premise to be writer transparency
like its a flaw, but it can be redeemed
It’s almost always a lazy excuse to move the plot along.
Star Wars being a great example.
yeah, or in a desired but unreasonable direction
what do you mean by writer transparency? I've not heard that term
