It doesnt have all the capacities of the gravity gun from what I saw

They use the same tech, but the gravity gun uses a xen based crystal to power the suped up mechanism

When asked about why HL Alyx is VR only they said it was because Half life as a series was meant to be about inovation and new technologies and techniques

That's 4 hours longer than half life 2

Half Life 2 did it by focusing on breakable scenarios and physics puzzles and combat

Which was inovative for the time

And half life alyx is probably one of the most refined and well made VR games there are at the moment

But if it weren't good story shooty, all those innovations wouldn't mean shit
