@Dusty Morgan since i have a vague (college chemistry in highschool) understanding of how some basic chemical reactions work, I do believe that lithium likes just about everything which means you have to replace lithium carbonate to expel it from your body, especially since the only things that can replace it, don't "want" to, sodium is less attractive than lithium, potassium less than sodium. I am no expert and have not been in school in 5 years so don't take my word on it, but from just this understanding, there is not a convenient or immediate counteractant I can think of.

because of its simple nature it is predictable in known situations, but extremely hard to remove because of it's simplicity. I don't think it should be banned, but some alternative to "mass drugging." Mass anything is bad.
