Are you in a wheelchair?
I do agree though, that if they act like publishers, they should be treated like publishers.
No... but if I get injured again in the neck, I will be in a wheel chair.
And in a breathing machine.
I think you might be able to make some income in the gig economy.
More and more people can work from home.
And, don't forget people like Steven Hawking.
That is rarely succeeds.
There is also a lawyer who is paralyzed from the neck down.
ya, bro, if you are a genius, and not too insane, and good at maths....
I would be betting my livelihood and finical status on a chance.
i've been working from home pretty succesfully ;^)
being disabled isn't so bad.
I'm just saying that gladly there are so many possibilities nowadays.
Most lawyers like that... they had training prior to their disability.
And they don't suffer from chronic migraines.
i opened a lemonade stand, but then was sued for not having a license.
This guy is a successful lawyer. It's amazing.
He had years of learning to cope with that. I would immediately be thrusted into the situation.
Yeah, that's true.
I wouldn't have anyone to help me during the difficult years of relearning how to work.
I would end up homeless.
prison
is a good option
And most likely die due to the cost of the equipment.
food, entertainment, social activities
Paralyzed from neck down, would mean I wouldn't be able to control any of my bodily functions.
It would be a living hell.... for the short while I would be alive.
could bite your tongue off
I wonder if we can fix those kind of injuries soon.
If we could, I would be happy.
That's part of why it makes me so angry that we put gender quotas above meritocracy in fields like medicine.
I would go through the medical procedures to get my life back.
To give me the ability to function in society as a whole.
woah, sexist alert, sexist alert
We are actually impeding process in medicine and science that could really help people.
My neck injury, my head injury, my migraine issue, my depression issues, my hearing issues, and my eyesight.
Well, then add racism to that, too, because I am opposed to affirmative action, too.
I would restore my body's functions to pristine condition again.
